Good buckles for paracord necklace projects
I use these for paracord necklace projects. They are strong enough to stay clasped during activities but will break open if the necklace gets hung up. It is a bit of a challenge to get the ends of the paracord stuffed in without reaming out the hole a tad. Be careful not to remove too much material or you will be hard pressed to keep the cord attached. An alternative I found and like better is to remove the inner core strands and use a thin screw driver to help push only the outer material into place.

Rough and tumble
I must have upgraded 10 of my lanyards/neck EDC's. I did finally crack one "female" piece because the knot was too big. So my fault! All the other ones worked great and I received them extreme quick. A great addition to my "neck kits." And the trick is not (pardon the pun) to tie large "stopper" knots like figure 8's. Just run a half-hitch tight to a frayed end and melt it w/a lighter and pinch it w/a pair of needle-nose pliers and it'll snap right in perfect.

Good Value!
Good little break-away! A little small for anything larger than 550 paracord. However, was able to make it work for my project by drilling the hole a little larger.

Decent connectors, hard to pull apart
These are used for connecting necklaces when making paracord projects. They are well made, but a bear to pull apart, especially with big fingers like me. If you connect and disconnect these a few times it does get better.TIP: Mil-Spec paracord, without any modifications, will NOT work in these connectors. I found that removing 4-5 strands of the paracord will make it fit so you have room for a hot knot inside the connector.

Be careful. I did not get them all
I just finished a Paracord project with my after school program. We received 30 male components but not 30 female- We were shy of 4 females, thus, not allowing for some of our kids to make a necklace. I would have given it 5 stars had the missing pieces been there. Other than that, the Barrel connectors worked just fine.

Good for a neck lanyard to keep from getting choked.
The majority of these worked as they were suppose to. I had a few that popped apart too easily but was able to fix by heating the clasp andpressing a butter knife against the end to increase the flair. Worked fine after that. These were quick and easy to install on my paracordlanyards.

Decent Product for the Price
I have ordered these several times and use them on my paracord lanyards. I have never had any issues with them arriving on time, but the quality has been hit and miss. Sometimes you get a pair that you can't open with a pair of vice grips; other times, the weight of the paracord itself will pull them apart. For the price it is a decent product, I would just like to see more consistency.

I like this product
I like this product. It breaks the lanyard a way to eliminate strangling the wearer. This is a safety feature.
