The Puffin Keeper

Whilst I love the story and the illustrations I was unsure as to which age group it is best suited . I bought it for an 8 year old grandson but decided he might feel patronised as the text layout was better suited to a younger child, in my view.However, the story content will appeal to all ages so good for children whose parents routinely read to them or with them.

Absolutely stunning story with some amazing illustrations that I couldn't stop looking at!Such a lovely heartfelt story about a lonely Lighthouse Keeper and the friendship over the years between him, a puffin and a young boy he saves.Beautifully written.

Bought this for myself, and really enjoyed it. Lovely story, and perfectly illustrated. I won't spoilt the story for anyone. I have several of MP's stories, and enjoy them all. The background on this one was an interesting surprise, and made it more precious to me, because I enjoy reading so much.

My 8 year old granddaughter and I read this together connecting on face time. We both loved the story and the fabulous illustrations.Another great Michael Morpurgo book.It focuses on kindness and gratitude.face time

This is a beautiful book. The story is really interesting and so sweet. The illustrations are really beautiful. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
