I bought this product hoping I wouldn't have to sort out the Frankenstein mashup of pin lock posts that came with my used Corny kegs. (They all needed new poppets) Using this product ended with a stream of root beer hitting the ceiling. Exciting!I saw a different review that recommended cutting the spring to fit a pin lock, so I bought this product and took the chance. The fatal flaw however, is that the poppet heads are too small. Part of the o-ring WILL slip through when under pressure.Gave this product 3 stars since the poppets are well manufactured and probably work well for other (mayber newer?) posts. Had for just a few days, but fit perfectly in my pin lock kegs. Poppets protrude up from the post surface just a bit, where the original poppets were flush, but doesn’t change function at all. Package came with replacement o-rings as well (8, same as the number of poppets) and no leaks so far on the kegs I’ve installed them on. Even with such short use, I’m way more confident I won’t have beer spraying me when I pull off the disconnect compared to the originals.

I tried these on a Cornelius keg and the external gas fitting will not lock onto the post. The liquid fitting locked on, but took considerable more force than normal. I don't feel good about using them, so no use to me. They are 44% taller than the poppets on most of my other kegs (27.0 mm vs 18.7 mm). I suppose a person could cut the spring, but how do I know that bottom edge won't damage the o-ring?

Great value on these. Used half of them to replace leaking gas and liquid poppets on my ball-lock Corny kegs. Stiff spring seals well. Nice that there are extra gaskets as well

I ignored the other reviews saying the springs are to large and regret it. I tried these poppets with 2 different kegs and the springs are far to long. I tried to cut them down to match the springs I was replacing and it seemed to work OK. I did run into an issue when I trimmed the bottom portion of the spring it removed the factory flat end on the bottom so the spring does not want to sit flat. Unfortunately, after filling my keg the poppet did not seal and was leaking around the small gasket on top of the poppet. It seems like the piece that sits on top of the spring is slightly smaller than the original so it moves around inside the post and does not make a tight seal. I'll be looking for a different source for my replacement popets.
