Rice Crackers for Chinese Sizzling Rice Soup (7 Oz.)

We love sizzling rice soup! We order it whenever we eat Chinese, love the toasty flavor. On a whim I did a search on Amazon, and found this product. It is really excellent. Not only do we use it in the more traditional iteration, but I've put it in tomato soup and other soups as well. I even occasionally just snack on the squares by themselves.These aren't to be confused with the rice cakes you get in the grocery store. These are the real deal. And although 7 ounces doesn't sound like much, they are really light, and so one package will make lots of soup. This is a great find!

Tasty, but did not arrive whole. They are much better tasting than the usual rice crackers in my local grocery stores. I would probably not order again because the items fell apart.

This stuff is amazing. I am obsessed with sizzling rice soup but its so hard to find in Chinese restaurants. this last a long time and you get a ton out of it. There are a lot of dried rice squares so you will get at least 10 -15 bowls of soup out of this package. This is the real stuff looks like the stuff they use in restaurants. So worth the extra shipping.

Arrived broken with only about 1/3 of the package intact with unbroken rice cakes. The rest of the package were shattered into pieces no larger than a half inch. Had the package been intact, would have been 8 pieces about 3x3x1/2 inch.With the broken rice cakes really would not be able to use to make the sizziling rice. Not a good value either. 7 ozs, even intact, might only yield 2 ,at best, soup recipes. Would not buy again or recommend. Did taste good after gritted up, but not wirh the time ,trouble, or expense.

I loved these crackers, I make sizzling rice soup a lot and always have these on hand, they arepackaged great, taste great convience, I find myself eating them out of the packa great krunchy rice cracker

The rice tends to get broken up quite a bit during shipping but is still delicious. I've ordered several times and the result is always the same...somewhat munched but yummy nonetheless.

Will not buy again. These do not ship very well. Cakes were past being just broken. Don't think any of the cakes were whole. Purchased specifically for sizzling rice soup where you can fry and add the whole cracker to the soup for effect. Crumbles not so good and hard to remove from the oil. Buy from your local oriental store.
