HQST 100 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Panel Kit with 10A MPPT Charge Controller, Z Bracket, 20FT 12AWG Cable

The panel and the controller gets shipped separately, but arrived the same day ! I have to say that I’m new to solar, but I’m happy I took the leap. It was a job installing, cause my trailer is a 2004 model and it took a little extra thought to figure where and how to run wiring and where to place the controller. The kit is reasonably priced ,and comes with everything you need to mount the pv and wire to the controller ,however you will need to purchase wire ( I used 10 gauge wire) and an inline 30 amp fuse on the positive lead from the controller to your batteries. I also wired a toggle switch from the pv to the controller in case I want to work on the controller! The quality seems to be really good and I’m happy I went with the MPPT controller. I haven’t used it in the field yet, but did two tests by turning every possible light on all night long and my batteries ran down to the 40% range, but recharged to 99% by mid-day, I’m so happy I think I won’t have to run my generator just to recharge batteries anymore ( hopefully) !

Purchased HQST setup in Aug and have used the RV 3 weekends since and found this package is great in keeping the batteries charged all the time. At night I find we run the batteries down to 60 % or more and the next day are fully charged by noon. It has solved the problem of how to maintain power after three days of boondocking. Installation and Instructions were easy to follow and took a couple of hours to run wires and place the controller in a good spot. I am completely pleased with this purchase.

Bought this to keep the batteries on our motorhome charged. Another retailer wanted over $1,000 to install a lesser system so I bought this and installed myself. I've had it a week and it works perfectly as advertised and I could not be happier. The MTTP controller was an upgrade so there were some disconnects between panel instructions and the controller itself but if you go with 10 gauge or better wiring to the batteries you will be fine (panel recommends minimum 12). Took me a day to install, including routing/hiding wires, and I'm thrilled with the result. Will post more at a later date if my opinion changes.

I did not use tech support as I've done these before. So far so good I use it for my grocery getter as I live on the second floor it's hard to carry the food up so I use it in conjunction with a winch and a small metal storage can I think it's 5 gallons. Works awesome.

So far I can't say I am pleased. I received the package today, and included with the kit were the solar panel, the controller, and the mounting brackets, but the adapter cables were no where to be found. I sent a message to the seller and will update this review if and when the issues are resolved.

Not happy only got the panel. I’m missing the controller, wiring, and brackets.

Only got part of the product and it’s been almost three weeks and have not gotten a refund. Also the solar controller is very cheap. I would not get this kit again.
