I bought one of these for my new cast iron cookware. I've seen the TV chefs using them rather than the typical spatula so I thought I would give it a try. Here's what I like about it:1. Bright finish. This looks really nice. Gift nice. You just need a nice bag or box. You know, however, that the nice finish isn't going to last when used in cast iron. I've already scraped it enough times to dull the finish at the tip of the spatula. It hasn't hurt the effectiveness so I'm still happy.2. Non-slip handle. I can really go to town on my cast iron pans and my hand has never slipped once.3. Heavy duty. I mean really heavy duty. I have brand new cast iron pans, so they tend to stick. I break my cast iron in by cooking 10-15 pounds of stuff like bacon, sausage, or burger. I don't care if it sticks. This spatula has no problem scraping along the bottom of the pans. When I press down, you don't get a lot of bend. It does flex a bit, but you have to really press on it.4. It's a two-piece handle, but it still holds up. I was skeptical when I purchased this spatula. I really thought that within the first 5 pounds of burger it would have fallen apart. Not so. I'm done "seasoning" my cast iron and this thing is still going strong. No signs of wearing out or breaking.The only thing I don't really like about it is the "folded metal" look to the backside. The back of the spatula makes it look "cheap". But after having used it for a few weeks now, and I used it 4-5 times a week, I am really impressed. I thought this would be a cheap "test" to see if I wanted to buy a better version, but this one seems like it is going to be my new cast iron cooking buddy.4. Cleans up easily. Just throw it in the dishwasher.

Easy to hold on to...great handle to grip without slipping... great length overall...Happy with my purchase!!!.

Well-made, great price, but not what I expected."beveled edge" "beveled for easy sliding beneath foods": The metal edges of the spatula aren't beveled, they are completely blunt, which doesn't really help slide under things. More suited to scraping? The shape of the spatula is slanted on the end, however - tapered to a right-leaning, rounded point."multifunctional flexiblity, good for turning eggs, etc" "thin flexible edges": The spatula I got doesn't have enough flex to qualify it as a selling point. It flexes just a bit under quite a bit of pressure - maybe what you'd want for cooking on a grill?This looks like a good quality, medium to heavyweight spatula with drain slots for turning fried foods, and a tapered/pointed shape for getting under individual things in a crowded skillet. And probably sturdy enough to use on the grill. But it might not be the best choice for turning/flipping cookies, eggs, etc. I especially wouldn't choose it for turning things that tend to stick in a lightly-greased pan.

Disclosure: I bought this in May 2020, and this happened in December 2022, so I did get 2 1/2 years of service. Mostly used it flipping fish and a few burgers. Tonight, I ordered a take-out pizza that was under cooked and too floppy to pick up a slice without the toppings and cheese staying behind. I was using this spatula to cut the cheese that had melted back together after they sliced it. Obviously not what the utensil was designed for, but all my kitchen tools get used for other things. I consider this spatula to be very light duty. I wouldn't recommend it for making smash burgers for fear it would bend. Gave it 3 stars for the value of 2 1/2 years at this price.

I bought one of these years ago, but I left the handle on something hot, so it melted part of it. I bought 2 more as back ups, because I'm sure I'll do something like that again. I'll keep the melted one as a spare/ to use with the grill. Great product, works well. Nice, and light, but sturdy enough to cook with. Easy to clean, doesn't take up too much space.

I like the way the Fish Spatula is assembled and handled.

This spatula is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy and easy to use. I like the length and the narrow size. The only downside is that the edges are a bit sharp where the metal is bent down to form the handle.
