Only 2 remaining! Bird feeders need to be cleaned at least every two weeks. For best results wash your feeder thoroughly in soapy water, then soak or rinse it in a solution of one part bleach to nine parts water. Dry the feeder thoroughly before refilling. Monitor the moisture of the seed inside the feeder between and discard any feed that is moist or moldy as this can be harmful to the birds. When placing your feeder there are several things to consider. Birds prefer open space so they can easily move from one port to another (or one feeder to another). Keep the feeder at least 5-8 feet off the ground and at least 10 feet from a jumping point for predators (such as cats or squirrels). Birds like to have full and partial sun during the day they also like to have quick access to coverage from predators within 15 feet of where they feed. Birds may not immediately eat from your feeder, sometimes it takes patience for the word to spread in the bird community about your delicious seed. If you still don’t have birds feeding you may need to consider changing your seed type or location to attract the right birds for your area.

Not the material I thought
I like the feeder but it said in the material it was Acrylic which to me is a much stronger and hard plastic and was looking at another feeder just like this that said plastic so wanting a stronger tube I went with this one but when I got it the tube was just plain plastic like the identical one for 9 dollars less. Since getting it I went back and did notice at the top it said plastic but down where you get the measurements and weight it did say Acrylic so in a way was my fault as once I saw that word and the other cheaper one said plastic I went with this one but in the end there is no difference and could have saved 9 bucks by going with the other one.

Lid doesn't attach and is as light as a feather
Pretty, but the "copper" lid doesn't attach, just sets on top. The slightest wind will blow it off leaving seed exposed. Not practical for a feeder

Nice sturdy feeder
Sent this to my mom for her birthday - thought it was smaller, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size in real life! Beautiful feeder!

Don't waste your money
Sending this item back. Very cheaply made. I'll look for it in the $1.00 store.

Recommended bird feeder
It took about a week for my backyard birds to start eating from this bird feeder, but now the hungry little guys can't seem to have enough. I highly recommend for smaller birds that usually get bullied by larger birds on other open bird feeders.

This bird feeder is elegant and looks great on my bird feeding station
This bird feeder is elegant and looks great on my bird feeding station. This feeder has six feeding ports. It has a lovely copper finish. It is very easy to add the bird food. You simply lift the roof and pour the food in. It holds 1.5lbs of feed. The clear plastic tube allows you to see how much food is in there. The roof helps keep the food dry and reduce the probability of mold or toxins forming inside the bird house on the feed. The plastic is solid and feels very durable. The copper finish is gorgeous especially when the sun shines on it, but it also helps attract birds such as, chickadees, cardinals, blue jays, and warblers. I HIGHLY recommend this bird feeder. It is a great product for the price. It has everything I was looking for: style, functionality, and durability. This is definitely a five star item. I received this product discounted in exchange for my genuine review.
