I followed instructions. Photo 1, if I successfully post my photos, shows 2 tablespoons of popcorn plus some margarine in the container. Next, there I am folding the flaps down. They are loose and floppy, and I am having to hold them in position. Photo three shows what happens when I fold down the last flareup and let go--the flaps fall down into the container. See the next photo--wide open gaps are left. I tried microwaving anyway. The last photo shows popcorn all over the microwave, which I expected, with those gaps. It could be worse. The popcorn was good. But those floppy flaps make this item a loser. Funny how they don't show any photos of their item with the flaps correctly in the closed position.

I am a popcorn junkie and wanted to find a new microwave popper that was BPA free and that didn't require oil to pop. This popper works well; very few unpopped kernels. Two gripes though. 1) the silicone gets really, really hot, requiring pot holders to move it out of the microwave and pour it into a bowl. 2) The flaps don't always easily fold as expected. If you don't have it closed up correctly, you will have popped and unpopped kernels all over your microwave.

Received as a gift for Christmas. No longer use air popper. No butter needed. Fill the bottom with popcorn, fold down the flaps and let it go. Some popcorn occasionally pops out of bowl , but is minimal. Also puchased for my daughter who requested for her college dorm. Highly recommend!!!

It is quite an odd contraption. The silicon is very "bendy" and the "folding" cover doesn't work well. Popcorn kernels and popped corn are not well-contained and wind up all over the inside of the microwave no matter how I try to fiddle with it. It's also kind of difficult to clean since it's so bendy. I do not recommend this product.

It was great when I first started using it but then over time it held the kernels inside less and less making a huge mess to clean-up.

left taste and smelled when cooking. did not close well when cooking, so popped all over microwave.

Works okay, but popcorn and kernels get alllll over your microwave. I started placing a small silicone disc over the top and that helps.

Great item! Makes a nice serving of popcorn fast and easy. My kids make their own, no more bugging me, and cheaper and healthier than microwave popcorn bags from the grocery store
