This is the single best Stamp and Cover Guide Scott has ever produced and published!!! Hands down! Serious collectors and Investors are buying Scott Catalogs annually for the change in market values for the pre 1940’s. (I don't even collect new stamps so 300+ pages of every Scott Catalog is completely wasted on me and takes up tons of shelf space in my house which is very annoying to my wife! Non-collecting spouses just don't feel or see the thrill of it, especially if its taking up shelf space. This Catalog deals with all stamps and covers world wide from pre-1940 which is where 80-90% of the higher market values are. This Catalog has the same quality and reference sections as other volumes but contained in one volume which is very handy. It is hard back with excellent binding. Pages are in color with high gloss. Market values are accurate and updated annually. Very reasonable price versus what you are getting and in one handy catalog. Highly, highly recommend! I rate “A++”.

Still the best single-volume stamp catalogue in existence. I only wonder why some of the other major catalogue publishers don't copy the idea. All the world's classic and semi-classic periods' stamps covered.

This is an older guide but a great reference book for ID as well as an idea of what stamps are deemed of any great value.

wow, was für ein Werk. Mit einer Seitengrösse von 280 x 210 mm (fast DIN A4) und einem Umfang von 1284 Seiten hat man hier ein richtiges Buch in Händen, dass sich auch durch den festen Einband (mit Deckelprägung) sehr wertig anfühlt. Durchweg farbige Abbildungen aller Marken mit 75% der Markengröße (bei M. sind es nur 50%), fotografische (= realistische) Darstellung der Wasserzeichen und alle wichtigen Preisnotierungen in übersichtlicher Darstellung machen es für mich zu einer leider erst jetzt entdeckten, guten Alternative zu zig Länderspezialkatalogen. Die Qualität des Buches lässt leicht verschmerzen, dass der Begriff "Klassik" hier mit dem Zeitraum von 1840 - 1940 sehr großzügig ausgelegt ist (man muss ja nicht alle Notierungen nach ~1908 lesen ;). Da es ein amerikanisches Werk ist, sind die Preisnotierungen natürlich in US$ und die Beschreibungen in Englisch. Alles in allem: für mich Top.
