Exactly what I wanted!
Awesome mount! Just what I needed in my service truck. I installed it in an international terrastar with some modifications as the terrastar does not have the “standard” seat pattern in it. Stationary the mount is awesome with lots of range so you are comfortable. Assembly was easy as well. Only complaint is it bounces quite a bit going down the road. My truck riding rough is definitely a contributing factor though. I just take the laptop out and use it as an arm rest

Small Holes
Not as universal as I hoped. Did have to drill several holes. But function was as expected and worked great once installed.

Beware of poor base construction! It WILL vibrate a good bit which makes it hard to read from screen. Not worth the price.
The top portion and the swivel mechanism seem to be built pretty rugged. However the bottom part of this whole apparatus is built with what seems ZERO brains and no real world testing! The huge and heavy metal base at first appears to be beefy until you actually install it in the truck and then put your computer on the top. Then you notice that the design of the base is AWFUL!! The column shakes with vibrations while driving on interstate. The base needs a totally different design to be more sturdy. My dad actually had to weld two metal rods from the pipe to the base so it doesn't shake so much and its still not as sturdy as it could be given a proper design. The crazy money spent on this is simply not justified with this partially crappy design. Like I said the top of the unit is built okay but the base is absolute junk! I'de say this product is worth no more than $99. WAY overpriced and under engineered, sadly much like with most products on the market these days.

Not universal
Not universal. Not flexible enough. Always twisting it out of the way to get around it. I am in the process of cutting it up and custom fitting it to the truck.

Mounting is easy enough but the computer clamps are too high could not close the lid. Fixed with two pieces of wood this also helped with air flow under the computer to keep it cool. Over all has worked well traveled 4000 miles and it has had no problems.
