I love this book. A great resource and refresher for math.

Not simple for teaching various tricks

An excellent book for any teacher of maths. Reinforces things you knew in past but forgotten or do anyway and forgot why. Easy to read chapters with excellent ideas for activities. Sometimes you just need a book to make you think and reflect on your practise, that is if you have time to do it!

Written in clear and readable language and well illustrated. An altogether useful text for teachers and parents.

This is a fantastic book for trainee teachers or new teachers as it explains children's early understanding of mathematics. It also gives a very good insight into the misconceptions that children may have very early on and how teachers can tackle this through their teaching .
