These scissors are not for cutting line like the description says but I fish for steelhead and salmon and these are the perfect scissors. I used to have the Gerber neat freak scissors but I lost them in a river so I was looking to buy new ones and I saw the bubba ones and I have heard good things about bubba. Needless to say these scissors are ideal for cutting skein chunks bleeding fish and even dressing them I can do everything but filet with these scissors. These scissors can also cut line but there are definitely better candidates if you are only buying scissors to cut line.

These are the perfect size. I keep them on top of my center console and use for rigging while fishing. The grip is amazing and they are sharp allowing easy cutting of braid and mono. Cuts are clean and quick. I’ve used other brands of fishing scissors and like the smaller ones but the blade wear out pretty quickly. These are a little larger but a good in between size. Definitely feel the good quality compared to others

these are the sharpest and most durable shears that i have ever owned for cutting braid. Fit in my hands well and feel like the greatest shears you have ever used. Highly recommended.

I haven't used them out fishing. But tried them on 4 pound to 10 pound braid. Cut's it clean. The only thing that I don't care for is the finger hole's. The design is hard to get my fingers into. But it does a good job when I do.
