Not sure how people love this that much. It definitely appears to made of high quality materials, and has very smooth motion for what it is, but the ergonomics of holding it and pulling it closed is very awkward. It's not a natural. I feel like they over-engineered it. I am sure I will get used to it, but I think they need to go back to the drawing board on hand how the hand operates. Works amazing!Makes releasing fish much easier.Lowers risk of hooking self on multiple hooked jigs.The 12in is perfect for removing hook while fish is still in water and larger fish.Only negatives are there is no loop or hole for a leash attachment. I fish from a kayak and it’s a must to have items on a leash. Also the 12in is a bit Front heavy.
