have had a few of these type thermometers..this one appears so far to be the most accurate and quickest to work

Been using for a few years now. Reliable and fast. Don't remember what I paid but it couldn't have been a lot because I'm cheap. Totally satisfied.

I grew up having to hold an uncomfortably sharp metal probe under my tongue for 30 seconds to check whether I had a fever. By comparison this is revolutionary. It reads immediately, and removes comfort and sanitation issues by being contactless. My only gripe is that the construction feels pretty cheap, more like a toy than a proper piece of equipment. That said, its performance has seemed pretty accurate thus far.

Tldr buy this.We’ve learned the hard way that a lot of the forehead thermometers don’t read accurately, especially at a reasonable price point. So relieved to find one that actually works! Now I know whether or not my daughter has a fever.

This is one of the most accurate thermometers we’ve owned. Easy to use and no fuss for small kids. Just a quick second to the forehead or behind the ear and it gives the reading. It will start beeping and screen will turn red for fever, otherwise the screen just lights up normally for regular temperature.

It seems to be well set up, and is sold by a well known brand. The problem is the temperature readings are always low.I'm literally checking it with a Vicks thermometer, oral one, and every time it's about a half to one degree low. There should be a way to calibrate this, or reset the thermometer to make it plus or minus .5°, so it matches up with realityThere's no point on spending this much on a thermometer that always reads low, and is inaccurate.
