Cat Tree with Palm Top, Green Carpet, Manila Rope, 2 Platform, 60 Inches

I was very excited to get this product, but was horribly disappointed. Love the palm tree and natural look online, but it arrived looking like an 8 yr old kid made it. The carpet was loose and lumpy, the edges uneven, the sisal wrap was loose and gapping in places, it didn't assemble well, as much tork as I used to screw the peices together it was just loose and wobbly - never would have stayed upright with my young cats- and there was a large gap on one side between the levels. It all looked worse in person than the pictures show. however besides the fact that the sisal punctured my hands and left fibers poking out of my skin, It's a natural product, I kind of expected some of that, and yes readers, the smell that the others describe is really bad. I wish it were Juat the earthy smell of the sissal, but it smelled toxic!!' Maybe the glue or vapor of the carpet, but it was not organic or healthy smelling. However, the very worst part of this product by far was that there were over 200 carpentry staples holding all the carpet and sisal on, and Many, Many were loose enough to trap a claw and pull it out of the pet. I was hoping this product would help me not have to declaw the cats rather than doing it for me. Very, very unsafe product.This said, I'm so glad I bought this product on Amazon because I rarley return anything, and I was really dreading returning this large item, but Amazon made it easy to return. Thanks Amazon!

The cats needed a lesson in climbing to get to the top, but once they figured it out, they totally loved it. One of them especally loves the fronds on top. It is an eye-catcher. It smelled when it was new, from the natural materials, and the smell did go away. When both cats jump up on it at once to the top shelf, it is a bit wobbly for a few seconds. 4 stars are from the humans, the cats would probably give it a 5!

My cats are all over this Kitty Palm Tree. They love it and I love the way it looks! The Kitty Palm Tree gives my house a tropical feel and is attractive unlike traditional Cat Furniture. Definitely worth the price tag. Very happy with my purchase!

I was nervous about buying this kitty tree once I read the reviews about the smell. When it arrived......I opened the box and was floored by the stronge smell of the sisal rope. However, all I did was remove it from its packaging and let it sit on my patio overnight and it was fine the next day! I brought it inside and the smell was gone! I think it smells ( and it does smell VERY strong) because of the sisal rope and the fact it comes from the Florida heat!!!! Once I aired it out overnight it was great! My kitty loves it! We put it near a window so she can watch the birds outside! I think this is a great value!
