It will definitely make your hair purple. My hair is 50/50 grey and brown. When done it was all purple. It took a long time to run clear when rinsing. Does smell bad at all. Did not stain tub or counter but will stain paint if you get it on that. It’s a great product. It was the 5th one I tried and now I’m sticking with this one. I didn’t think anything was going to dye my gray hair but it did.

I’m absolutely sold on this color. I used the plum on medium brown hair with grey hairs around my face and not o my us the color brilliant but the grey coverage is great. If it didn’t cover its ge side one has missed the grey hair. What I love about this product t the most is that it has an inclusion conditioner witching the cold and when yuh start ti rinse the color out if your hair, your hair is soft and not dry and course as other versions are. Totally recommend it and support this product. And the color is vibrant. Go get it !!

So in my venture to find a replacement for my old favorite (Arctic Fox, review there) hair dye that has gone down the drain. I came across this one, having been dying my hair for well over a decade now I have TRIED some things. So this is not the first one claiming “permanent purple” so I was aware it may not work as advertised. I was hopeful nonetheless.-So in mixing I was very concerned as the cream stayed an extremely light purple until 20 minutes into the process. Which to be fair I have seen before.-The formula didn’t stink too bad, I have used much stronger smelling ones, definitely in a well ventilated area though.- After following directions and rinsing it did dry out my hair a bit more than I would like.- So as for color I was only able to get two spots to actually be “bright” purple. Those were the super blonde spots.-Side note: When I prep my hair I don’t like to do an even lighting because then you get a flat “even” color on top. This way you get variation and dimension.- Everything other than the super blond spots turned an “Ash purple” like if purple were denim.- So I was like “Ok fine not what I was going for but I’ll go with it a bit” Unfortunately the next time after just rinsing with water about 90% of the color rinsed out! The bright purple was pastel and everything else was almost gray purple. It was the equivalent fade I would get in 2 months from any “Semi Permanent”So All that being said my journey for a new better purple continues. In the meantime if you are looking for permanent gray purple this would be an amazing choice other than that don’t waste the time and money.

I love this hair dye. It leaves my hair feeling so soft. I'm a greying brunette and the coverage is wonderful. It smells good with no harsh chemicals and last awhile through many shampoos. I get many compliments on where do I get my hair done at. When I say it's a box dye the can't believe it. I have sent the link to many people so they can purchase as well. It comes off the skin very easy with just water and a cloth. The formula is very smooth and mixes well. I've even used it for my grandkids because it has no harsh chemicals.

This color was a bit disappointing but not horrible. The online color and description leads you to believe it’s rose gold. When I got it, the box looked like the color was a bright pink. Not what I wanted but ok, I can live with it! When I first dyed it, it was beautiful. That was mid November. I loved it. But here we are, about six weeks out, and it’s the color in the second photo. I still like it but it’s not as rose as I’d like. It’s more golden. I wash my hair once or twice a week, because it’s fine and it damages easily. This did not damage my hair, which is great. I’d recommend it if you don’t mind it fading rather quickly, and no damage. If you’re looking for more rose, maybe try something else, this fades to a golden tone.

My hair wasn't light enough when I used this and didn't get what I wanted. After round two of bleaching the metalic effect was spot on.

So happy I found this color. Finding a permanent deep purple is difficult. Usually they come out burgundy or or fade out in a few washes to an awful pink. My hair color was ombre, purple to blue. A semi permanent Splat mistake. The colors were pretty but the dye is a nightmare. Bleeds constantly, if you sweat, or shower, it bled. Forget swimming smh. Anyhow, I needed to rid of the nightmare for a permanent color. Love plum purple so this was great. I did use a clarify shampoo the days leading up to my dyeing. The splat of course still in full bleeding color but no hairspray or anything weighing down my hair. I bleached 24hrs after clarifying to dull the splat. Bleach barely touched the splat but I figured that would happen as splat doesn't penetrate like hair dye, it's more a fabric dye. After the bleaching, I dryed my hair and used my flat iron to thin my hair and straighten any friz or curls cuz my hair is both frizzy and curly. For me straightening helps when I dye my hair, the dye can spread further. My hair is mid back length. So with straight, dulled ombre splat hair I went ahead and applied this dye as instructed by the pamphlet in the box. One box did all my hair cuz as I said, I used my straight iron to thin my hair down. (If your hair is long and thick, you'll need 2 boxes or try a flat iron.) I waited 30 mins and washed it out, added a dye safe shampoo and rinsed as instructed. Even tho it said there's conditioner in the product, I still added a little to my hair then rinsed. The color is amazing. It's just like it shows on the box. I'm so happy with this dye. So happy it got rid of the splat menace. My hair is soft and the perfect plum purple, not burgundy or pink. The dye smelled great too. Wasn't chemical smelling, but more shampoo sweet smelling. I'm buying this color again to have a backup for when I need to touchup my roots.

Perfect true purple color without too much red. Definitely get 2 boxes if you have long hair. I've tried all sorts of purples over the years and this one has been the easiest to apply and did not leave my bathroom looking like a grape massacre. Hair feels soft and the color is fabulous.
