Tomee AV Cable for Genesis 2 and 3

Feels cheaply made and there does seem to be some interference in the picture quality..

This cord worked perfectly to connect my old Sega Genesis model 2 up to my flat screen tv..very easy to connect and now my 6 yr old grandson can't wait to try his mom's old game system!!!..if you have an old Sega Genesis model 2 game console collecting dust I highly recommend getting this cord so you can use this game system again!!!

This cord arrived in a torn box .. And the cord has a tear in it and the connection doesn't work at all. I want my money back as soon as possible

I brought this to use with N old classics game.

I got three of these so I could hook up two Genesis consoles and have a spare. All three only put out audio on the right channel and it was mono. If you want stereo you need to look elsewhere. Good news for Genesis 3 owners is that the tiny console only outputs mono anyway so it’s not a loss. Genesis 2 owners look elsewhere

I used this to replace the single rca to antenna in on my new 4k tv. Sega looks great using this.

I bought this cable for use with a modded Genesis 1 that adds the Model 2 video port, cleans up the audio, and a few other things. When testing the cable out, I found that I had what seemed like no audio from my right channel. I plugged the RCA jacks into an adapter and into my computer, and found that the audio on the right channel was there, but VERY faint. After doing some searching, I checked with a multi-meter to see if maybe I had just gotten a faulty cable. It was then I discovered that the right audio jack is not wired to pin 9 as it should be (for the right audio channel), but to pin 6, which is for mono audio output. Since the mod is designed to be used with a stereo cable, it doesn't amplify the audio on the mono pin, which is why it was so quiet.Had this been simply a case of a weird faulty cable I'd be happy to just get an exchange but it's very unlikely that this sort of mixup would happen at whatever factory these are produced in. I'm quite disappointed in these being wired incorrectly.I'm only giving it two stars instead of one because if you're using it with a Model 2 or 3 you will get "stereo" audio, just not the real stereo audio (you'll get the left channel and a downmixed mono on the other).

Came in a cheap plastic bag, video is messed up and a loud hum coming from the audio. Worst cable I have ever used. Complete waste of money. Used another cable and it worked perfectly. Don't throw your money away on this cable.

no se si mi cable llego defectuoso o así es el modelo, pero con mi Genesis Model 2 el audio se escucha horrible, tuve que regresar a mi cable de baja calidad y este lo regrese, no lo recomiendo.

The cable works, but the stereo audio is only wired to 1 side and the other side is just the mono audio, I double checked with a multimeter. Also the cable has a feedback humming noise though the speakers and my original does not.

Works great, just make sure you have the Sega Genesis model 2 or 3, as these cables are only compatible for the later generation Genesis consoles, and not for the original model 1 console.Enjoy the hours of great gameplay!
