Both worked fine at first
These are really hit or miss. I bought two. Both worked fine at first, and then one started to flicker and would randomly drop the picture to the TV. The other has obvious defects because it will randomly decide to stretch a standard 4:3 image to 16:9 and vice versa. No amount of changes in the system display settings will resolve the issue. This makes both of the cables I ordered essentially garbage and completely useless in less than a year of ownership. For the record, I have a cheap old Component cable for multiple systems that I bought at Gamestop many years ago that has NONE of these issues with any of my Xbox's... I am certain that the cost to manufacture that cable couldn't have been much more than these cheap pieces of junk: I don't understand why the market for this kind of stuff is so horribly flooded with cheap, barely functional subpar products... Stay away: as long as people keep buying this crap, it will continue to saturate the market which is bad for all of us.

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
All in all good for the price, not great. They work as a set of "ok" Xbox component cables, and occasionally causes the screen to blank out for a bit. The sound quality is sub par and full of interference noise (i.e. low buzzing) which I can only assume is from cheap cables.Worst case scenario the buzzing gets louder and I frankenstein a 360 component cable with this cables Xbox adapter end. Saw a YouTube on it.

Too much signal ghosting, Might be useful as a donor cable
Too much ghosting for my liking. Didn't want to fight a return so I used it to make a Frankencable with some solder. That fixed the ghosting! You'll need to know how to solder though. Google DIY Original Xbox Component Cable...If you want a good signal, I'd avoid. Look elsewhere. If you need a cable that's technically functional? This one would do.You can see how small and not adequately shielded the cables inside are. The inputs all share one ground too.

Terrible quality
I have vertical bars on the screen when using this cable to connect my XBOX to a HD TV. The cable is not defective, just poorly engineered. Or maybe engineered to a price point instead of being functional. Either way, you should avoid this product.

Dead After one use
I received these cables. tested them once. they worked fine. I put them away as I didn't wanna play xbox at the timeI go back to play the system and there's no video at all the second time. thankfully I had some spare RCA cables to play and test my new game out. the game's great but these cables are definitely not!

Connection problems
I was glad when I could find new old stock for an original XBox to connect to a modern TV. It was a good price and arrived quickly. The reason I gave it 3-stars is the audio worked, but video did not. I had to wiggle the connector to get it to work properly. It's probably a bent pin or something, but was a bit worrisome until I figured it out.

Low quality video cables
I've purchased this cable a while ago and it seemed to have worked fine for my Xbox, however after a month of using it I began to notice interference in the video output. From far away you don't notice the video noise in the picture, but from a normal viewing distance you can clearly see purple lines moving up from the bottom of the screen and it is very distracting. I don't recommend purchasing component cables from Old Skool again. If you want good cables purchase OEM cables.

Very poor quality construction.
These cables are cheap cheap cheap. Quality cables use coax, but these cables are unshielded individual wires. This leads to WORSE performance than composite or even RF cables. If you love having static all over your screen, color crosstalk, and a jumpy image that fails to maintain sync at even at 480i then these cables are for you. If you want an enjoyable experience, find some better quality cables or make your own. The only worthwhile part of these cables was the custom xbox connector.
