High cost per daily dose - and be mindful of possible adverse efects.
I won't labour the potential health benefits of taking a collagen supplement ... As you have already come this far you may well already be aware of them, or else they are listed in sufficient detail on the product page. So, I will comment specifically on this particular branded product. However, please also be mindful that some people can experience adverse effects to taking collagen supplements. I will comment more on this later. The good bits: + This is a good quality product with decent credentials. + Perfectly serviceable packaging that is effective without being excessive. + Easy to swallow capsules. The less good bits: - It is not readily apparent from the product page that the recommended daily dosage for this product is three capsules. Therefore, this pack of 90 capsules only equates to 30 days supply. - Cost per daily dose is high. At currently advertised price it would equate to a daily cost of 66p. From similar collagen supplements I have seen I would expect a daily cost closer to 20p. Potential for adverse effects: Some people can have an allergic reaction to marine collagen supplements. Others, who although not allergic, can have difficulty digesting it and / or suffer constipation as a result. In summary: This is certainly at the costlier end of the scale. It will be up to each individual to decide whether this particular product has sufficient unique advantages over its competition to warrant the higher price. I hope you find these insights helpful.

good collagen supplements!
i’ve been wanting to take collagen supplements ever since I read that marine collagen repairs skin collagen and elastin protein fibers and produces a significant thickening of the outer skin surface (epidermis). results are decreased wrinkles and improved skin hydration and firmness following taking marine collagen supplementation. i’ve been taking these for two weeks now i have noticed small change skin looks much brighter and feels better but will keep taking these. Tablets are easy to swallow and come in a twisted cap bottle .

Seem working for me but it's quite expensive for a month supply.
I have been taking bovine collagen supplements since a few years ago due to joint problems. I have tried marine collagen in powder form before and it was not a nice experience. The taste was unpleasant and it has a strong fish smell. I’m glad that this marine collagen from Nutrimea, A French company, is in capsules. There are 90 capsules in the bottle for a month supply. With the vitamin A, C and E added to it, this collagen supplement will provide extra benefits for the skin and joints. I have been taking these capsules for around three week now. They are of standard size and I have no problem swallowing them. I have not experienced any abdominal side effects from taking them. In terms of functionality, I continue to feel no pains in my joints which means it’s working as good or even better than my regular bovine collagen. This made in French collagen supplement is made free from gluten, lactose and GMOs, made under supervision of experts with laboratory certificates/credentials. If anyone has a problem swallowing the capsules, I reckon you can just empty the capsule and add the collagen powder into a drink or sprinkle it onto cereal or smoothie. The only problem is that, for the current price of £19.90, it’s is quite an expensive supplement as it’s recommended to take three capsules per day. You will need to take this supplement for a few months to see significant results. Thank you for reading. Hope you have found it helpful.

Quality formulation, eco-responsible and good value...
As a supplement, collagen can be extracted from cattle, from fish - as in the case of marine collagen - and in recent times vegan collagen has also become available. Marine collagen is the most environmentally sustainable source as it comes from the by-products of fish processing, including fish skin. Beneficial for joints and bone health, skin, hair and nails, collagen can help with the absorption of calcium and may help slow the aging process. As with all supplements, quality and price varies but good quality formulations like this from Paris-based Nutrimea Laboratories can be expensive. Their by-products derive from the fishing industry in Brittany. Rich in vitamins C and E, lactose and gluten free, ingredients are very clearly listed on the side of the pack. I regularly take a number of vitamins and supplements and the packaging here is refreshingly simple. The plastic screw top container is no larger than it needs to be for the 90 capsule 3-a-day one month supply it contains - not overpackaged or hyped up on the label in an attempt to justify the price. The pot is sealed for security and freshness and there's an additional seal across the lid. Inside the plant-based capsules are of a reasonable size and are easy to swallow. With a clear and impressively long expiry date on the base of the pot - November 2023 - I'd highly recommend Nutrimea's Marine Collagen supplement. The formulation's good, they're eco-responsible - and, used over a 12 month period at the suggested dosage, they work out at less than £4.50 per week.
