Scratch Doctor All in One Leather Colourant Self Seal Leather Dye Repair Paint for Furniture, Sofas, Car Seats (Dark Brown, 100ml)

Great stuff used about 750ml to color my sofa. Mix my own color of medium brown and beige with a dash of acrylic black paint fusion mineral paint eucalyptus. Applied with brush and a mini roller. Lovely pink toned Taupe. Have previously used gray on leather dining chairs and durability is absolutely brilliant.

Bought this to revive a worn and very faded black leather steering wheel and gear knob. It's extremely good stuff; very opaque to it immediately brings a deep black finish to the leather, easy to apply, and fast drying. After about 20 mins on a sunny day it was already touch-dry.It's a very small bottle (100ml) for the money, but it seems to go a long way.Impressed so far.

Delivery and colour match - perfect. Application of product to our suite, (one reclining arm chair that is 11 years old, ) very easy but wear rubber gloves, all =, 5 gold stars.Durability, value for money - I will come back on to review, once we start using the chair in the next 48 hours, when the dye has fully dried, and the item is back being used 7 days per week.This one bottle was bought as a colour match to eventually do the the whole suite if the product is suitable.By that I mean, no colour transfer to our clothes and the leather doesn't crack and expose the white scratch marks the dye was bought to cover. 5 gold stars will be awarded for durability and value for money. So watch this space propective buyers !

Product itself is fine, performs as described but it’s quite a light colour and even using a colour polish after it’s applied it’s hard to blend it to the seat colour unless it’s an exact match.It did fill the cracks well but if it’s not a spot on colour match it stands out.

After my sofas were scratched by my daughters cats , and my dog…. I bought this product in dark grey, almost a perfect match. I didn’t have the special alcohol cleaner, but after some research discovered hand sanitizer with a high alcohol content would probably do the trick. Cleaned the sofas thoroughly, and used a sponge to apply 2 coats of the product in ‘dark grey’ …..I am very impressed!I would definitely recommend.It dries very quickly, and is very easy to apply with a soft sponge.

Didn't realise til it arrived that I needed other products to prep and coat it, so had to purchase separately. Still ended up far cheaper than new DMs.I originally bought the tan which was very pale, so I mixed with medium brown.This colourant will cover any natural leather colouring/texture - as you can see in the pic, but my docs were to scruffy to keep wearing for work. They are now a uniform colour and texture as the product is pigmented.I'm super happy with the end product. Great coverage - I used 3 coats overall to be safe. Once sealed, the durability is fab. It's not splitting or peeling in cracks and all the scuffs have been covered. The final product ended up a little darker than the after pic.Would definitely recommend.

This stuff does exactly as it says it does! I have three nearly 20 year old cream leather two seater sofas that have been in a NW facing conservatory for the past 16 years. Years of being sat on, scratch marks from my earstwhile canine companion's claws and highs and lows in temperature over time had taken their toll. They were deffo in need of attention! But, as the leather was still supple, the design/style still contemporary and comfort/build quality good - I was reluctant to replace them. This stuff has completely rejuvenated them! Scratches - gone! Heavy wear area(s) - gone! Colour brightened and restored. I can't comment on durability as yet but if I get another 5 years of the sofas looking this good - I'd be very happy. Now what can I find to do the same for my face?.....
