Automatically hooked up to my DVD player, no problem! Just provide your own batteries & you’ll be good to go with a magnovox DVD player. My universal didn’t have a repeat button for movies, so I got this one & it’s been perfect.

I liked the price and that the remote works as it should. I assumed that this was an exact replacement remote control with “Magnavox” on the remote but it had no markings to signify that it was for the Magnavox dvd/ vcr player.. but it does work properly!
