I had to upgrade my PC's integrated graphics to a dedicated graphics card. Then after a lots of research,I found the Gigabyte GTX 1050 ti. I bought it along with an hdmi to vga converter because my monitor only supports vga. That worked for me, Excellent one for games, I didn't check the frame rates. But is quite good for gaming. Go for it.

UPDATE This is now in an I5 2400. My daughters pc. Still works great, didnt need a power supply upgrade and is used for gaming snd films. Fortnite with graphics on 1920x1080, all set to epic is getting over 70fps all the time. Near silent in films too, I cant hear it at all, daughter can a tiny bit but not bothered. Still a good enough card. This is in my W10 pc, generation 1 I7. It gets used a lot for gaming, browsing, media and office work. This card never lets us down and is pretty quiet, can't be heard over the case fans. Has been a vast improvement over the previous cards, all ATI that have either failed or caused issues. I've not had an Nvidia card for many years but this has been a big improvement in fairness. There are a lot of updates constantly coming theough from Nvidia so it's still being looked after by their end which is good.
