Do new "o-rings" come with the filter kit? If not, what is the part number for the "o-rings" and where do you order them?

The O rings do not come with the replacement filters, you need to buy them from Water Express.

So the pentek, ispring, express, igeek and ect. filters will "all", work as long as the housing is 4.5 x 20"? but filter quality is diff?

Well dont know all those but If the housing is the same it should. I had ispring setup and just upgraded the filters to heavy metal filter set and they are great! No issues. Hope that helps

how to open the blue housing ? no matter what I tried I can not open the blue houseing to replace the filter

You first have to shut the water off to the system...Next you have to release the pressure in the system, there should be a red button on top of the system press that button and watch the pressure drop on the gauge..Note there will be some water so have a towel ready ..Next use the wrench that came with the system when you bought it ... It looks like a small tennis racket with no strings...slide that up the blue tube and spin it off....Note that the first time I had to change the filter the blue tube was on very tight ,so take your time and be careful....Hope I was able to help....

Will these cartridges fit the ISpring big blue system that uses the 4.5" x 20" filter cartridge?

Yes they will. Cartridge should say in details what size they are. I have used them in mine. Personally tho I feel the original name brand ones are better quality.
