These Knives are made from cheap steel and are not Bronze. They are wrapped in plastic to give the appearance of bronze. This plastic will peel and give the real look of the Handle. Also the Handle is hollow and the knives have no weight. These Knives are poured and sharpened, and not truly forged. Really really low quality.My Advice: Buy a quality knife set and leave this set alone.

These are beautiful knives, I love the feel and the color, however they were terribly dull. I liked them so much that I sent them out to be sharpened professionally - and I am now told that Fed Ex lost the package....so, the knives cost me double - I paid as much for the sharpening as I did for the knives and currently, I have no knives. These things could not cut a potato or a carrot let alone any meat, they were terribly dull.

As I was unwrapping the package, noticed blemishes on the knife handles and the front side of the knife block was poorly/sloppy unfinished. Disappointed over the knife blocks finish workmanship since the stain over the wood was sloppy and blotchy on the front side.Knifes felt well balanced, looked great and packaging was excellent. Returning for replacement, if no better quality will refund.Update: The replacement set knife blocks finish is very good with just one corner with some shipping scratches. The set was shipped in the manufactures packaging and took some beating during delivery. Double box if you order.

Beautiful knife set that feels like good quality. However I have only had this set for three months and one of the knives has already broken. I am not sure if other people have had this issue or if it was just a defect. Very disappointed I don’t have a full set now.

These knives are lovely and sharp. As with any good knives, you should wash them by hand and put them away dry. I love them. My only criticism would be that I wish the handles had more substantial weight, but I like heavy cutlery. I'd recommend them to anyone who likes that copper aesthetic and likes a sharp knife and who isn't going to throw their knives in the dishwasher.
