Beware - these units are all lemons!
FinalEdit 4/26/19:This thing was serviced 6 times. They kept replacing the display (digitizer wasn’t working). Don’t know where the disconnect/problem was. Finally gave up and escalated it. They’re replacing it with a new model Yoga. Screw this seller.Edit: It’s been 8months since purchase. Out for the 7th time for service. Screen doesn’t work. Pen function doesn’t work. Has overheating issues. At least there’s a price drop of over $300! Unbelievable.Took a chance because I couldn’t find this exact model anywhere else. Had trouble getting it and it ended up being late.Bought this back August and since then it had a massive overheating problem.Took it to a local Lenovo service center, and they had to replace the heat sink fan & the display. Two weeks later, the pen stopped working - so now it’s back.I’m very grateful I have support and I’m in the process of getting it fixed through the MFG.It’s a shame because this laptop is AMAZING. One of the best from the thinkpads and such a joy to have.Stay away, this seller sells lemons.

Really good laptop, but only if you plan on using all of its features
The p40 yoga is a fairly good 2-in-1, and is one of the few, if not the only, to include a dedicated video card.Build quality: It's built incredibly well, and I doubt you'll be able to damage it with minor dings and bumps. It feels like a plastic, I believe it's actually magnesium, but it feels sturdy and pretty good.CPU: The Skylake i7 is speedy, but since it's only a dual core, it sometimes stutters during really heavy tasks like compiling videos, but most people should be fine with it.GPU: The Quattro graphics are what make this laptop unique, and it runs relatively well. I'm able to get decent frames in 123D Design, a free 3d modeling software, at around 50-60 frames depending on what I'm doing. Gaming CAN be done, for older titles like Fallout New Vegas and Hearthstone run at fairly high graphics at 60 fps, but for more modern titles, such as Fallout 4 or Overwatch, you'll have to crank the graphic settings down pretty low to achieve 60 frames.Screen: The WQHD screen is incredibly sharp, and it looks great. It's glossy, so if you want a matte finish, you'll have to look elsewhere. However the screen is touch enabled, and can get pretty bright. The included Wacom pen, which is built into the side of the laptop, is very responsive, and while it's a little on the thin end, it works very well, and it only needs a few seconds to get from 0% to full charge when inserted.Keyboard: The keyboard is built very well, and is one of the better keyboards that I've had in a laptop. The layout is a little odd, however, and it takes some getting used to. It is back lit, and it gets pretty bright at night if you need it.Battery: For all good things, there must be a flaw. This is its flaw. In light use, such as Web browsing and video watching, I get around 4-5 hours on a full charge, and when the gpu is in use, it drops to around 1-2 hours. It's to be expected, for the high screen resolution, as well as powering a dedicated gpu, there's no getting around it without making the laptop any thicker or heavier.Ports: There are a good amount of ports on this device, including 3 usb 3 ports, SD card reader, hdmi port, mini display port, a headphone/mic jack, the power socket, and lenovo's own plus port that can be connected to a lenovo hub of needed. There's also the power button and a volume rocker on the right side, and you won't need to worry about accidentally turning on the laptop in your bag.Heat and fans: It runs pretty cool, and the fans aren't too loud even under heavy load. Just be careful not to cover up the air intake on the bottom, or it'll get really hot like most laptops.Speakers: The speakers are alright, but aren't the best sounding. They're on the bottom of the device, but they definitely get the job done.Software: Comes with Windows 10 pro installed, and I have no complaints about it. Just know that is not a mac or linex based device. Lenovo includes a few apps of its own, and they're not too bad. One of them helps install drivers, which is a plus.Camera and mic: Camera is good, not enough for Windows Hello, but it's great for skype calls. The mic picks up noise fairly well, and should be good in most scenarios.Overall: I think this is one of the better laptops I've owned. Sure, gaming laptops in this price range, as well as other workstations, will definitely get better performance, but in this case you're trading performance for portability and mobility. If you want a laptop that not only will perform well, but also has a great pen for drawing and taking notes and the ability to turn into a tablet, this is one of the few options you have, and I'd definitely recommend it. However, if you need something powerful, but you don't necessarily need the drawing or portability aspects of it, I'd stay away from this 2-in-1 completely, and invest in a bigger workstation, or even a gaming laptop, for you'll get much better performance at a much better price. 4/5 stars due to battery and price.

One Star for Warranty Issues
The laptop itself is lovely and probably deserves a 4 or 5 star rating, but buying from this particular seller is a grand MISTAKE. I purchased this laptop less than a week ago and discovered upon playing with the touchscreen a hairline fracture in the LCD that confuses the computer about which area is actually being touched and basically renders the touchscreen unusable. (Had to disable touch just to even access this internet page, it was being so finicky.)Of course I go to check the warranty and search my serial number on the Lenovo site. At this point I discover that OVER 100 DAYS of my free 1-year warranty have apparently passed. Please also note that the seller PC World promises a 3-year factory warranty on this machine, which appears to not be the case. (See attached screenshot, directly from the item listing on Amazon on 1/28/17).This is, of course, ridiculous, since I've had the machine in my hands for ~6 days. Seeing this happen on what's supposed to be a "brand new" laptop is incredibly concerning, and honestly unacceptable.Go buy straight from the manufacturer if you choose this laptop, which would have honestly been a great purchase otherwise.
