Victorinox Nail Clip 580 Wood Swiss Army Small Pocket Knife with Nail Clipper

The design of this Swiss Army Knife is exquisite. It will work as a worry stone because of the grooves in the super smooth wood. The nail clippers are sharp. These are what I used for my baby’s nails, because the metal is so thin, I was confident I wasn’t cutting into the quick. The scissors come in handy all the time. I don’t use the knife and file as much. You can drop this in any purse, it’s so small. I get immense value from this little tool.

Love the Vic. Mail Clipper combo tool in wood. Fantastic pairing. Keep it on my keychain and next to my bed. If if need tweezers ands toothpick I just use my other 58 mm Vics that I keep everywhere.

Very nice quality metal machining. The clippers and scissors have very tight tolerances. The clippers make a crisp snaps when cutting nails even thick toe nails and the scissors are also sharp with tight fitting parts and a well made spring. It’s an incredibly handy very compact way to have some basic and very useful tools you shouldn’t leave home with ought. I’ve carried these from my key chain on my belt loop doing all sorts of work in abusive and dirty environments. I’m an Arborist and expect tools to work as hard as I do and for fun I read a few of the 1 star reviews after ordering my second knife for my wife who liked mine so much she had to have her own. The 1 star reviewers are either totally NUTS or they somehow got a very rare mess up. Victorinox stands behind their products anyway so the 1 star reviewers are those 1 percent of people that would complain if streets were paved with gold.

I hate having hangnails, random pointy bits on my nails, nails growing unevenly, all that nonsense, so this little grooming kit is great for tidying up. The scissors and knife see less use but are a nice bonus, though I am more likely to use my Opinel blade if I have it on me as it is larger and has the safety lock to protect my fingers. I bought the wood-sided one as it's gorgeous and matches my walnut Opinel. You do sacrifice the tweezers and toothpick with this model, but if you aren't going camping or in a high-splinter profession those are small items you can just pack separately if you might want them. My nails thank you!
