Gin is good for one thing - to marinate olives and onions in! Of course, you can't let the marinade go to waste, which is why they invented Gibson martinis. And these onions make the BEST martinis. Not to mention they're great for good old snacking right out of the jar.

What is a Gibson?
One of the most popular of cocktails is the martini. The primordial garnish is olives stuffed with pimentos. Another choice is olives stuffed with garlic cloves, which I think is very good.Then there is the classic 'Gibson.' It is a martini with little marinated onions. These Mezzetta onions fulfill the requirements to make a classic Gibson. They are tart and crisp. If you want to make a Gibson, there is not better way than these classic cocktail onions!

These are sooooo good! Peter Piper-pickled perfection for a Gibson cocktail, but a plethora of these plump portions would be perfect on a pupu platter. These have just a hint of sweetness! Jars were well packed and arrived in A-1 condition.
