they're fairly warm constantly, though they never get any hotter. this is a bit uncomfortable when it's hot out. they hold in place like a pro, no slip or movement at all. they wick moisture fairly well, but leaves a little to be desired. material is soft and comfortable. the reason for 3 stars is some of the socks came out of the package with holes. i waited until after the return time to open them so I'll just have to have them sewed. but for $6 per pair it shouldn't come with holes brand new, I've never had this problem with any other brand to be honest. even the cheapest generic socks you get from discount stores don't. though there are holes, they don't seem to be showing any additional wear, even at holes. would be 5 stars despite flaws if didn't come with holes.
