I like it
3.50⭐️⭐️⭐️Style: Billionaire Romance (IR)Story: 3.5/5Enjoyment: 3/5Dark Level: 0/5Sexual Level: OKTriggers: YesViolence:Male: StoicSeries: Book 1Pages: 168Audio: GOOD (f)Kindle Unlimited: YesSTORY:So key word, PLAN. That word is going to be stuck in my head for the next few days. This story gave me so many mix emotions. I can honestly say, I don’t think I have ever experienced this combo. I like it; it was weird and awkward all in one. An hour into this audio, I wasn’t sure how to feel about the start of this story. However, it all made sense once the story unfolded. Nyla is pregnant with Go’s late brother’s baby. Go devises a plan to create a fake marriage with Nyla to raise the baby.Go was definitely a unique character for me, and he gave me anxiety throughout this story. It was different, and I like different. His character is dear to my heart because of his Asperger. I felt like his Asperger was also the third main character in this story, and not in a bad way. Nyla was not what I expected. Her and Go were such an odd mix, but getting to know her, you see why it worked with her and Go. I also enjoyed the climax of the story, as it was not what I expect with the turn of events.SEXUAL CHEMISTRYSo I was not all the way happy with the sex scenes. They felt almost like teasers, and then it was snatched away from me. I liked that from some scenes I got to see a bit of Go dominant side that peaked out.SECONDARY CHARACTERS:Go’s family was interesting. We didn’t see them a lot, but I love that thanksgiving moment with them. I like the other characters that made this story interestingly well, good or bad.OVERALL:A quick and likable story that surprisingly put a smile on my face that I was not expecting. Would I check out the other books in the series, yes.TRIGGERS: mention of child sexual abuse.****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

Great Read
Couldn’t wait to read this after reading Nikolai & Sam’s story and as usual it did not disappoint. Just right combo of love, steam, drama, and laughter in a well written package!

His Pretend Baby
This 1st book was absolutely amazing by TT. The main characters were intense with just enough innocence to want more of their story. Nyla was a foster child with some issues. Go is a young man whose family is Catholic, caring and solid. How the two characters ever come together is an extremely interesting and lovely story. TT out did herself in this book. The characters and plots are unpredictable with the right amount of drama and suspense. And to my great surprise, there were not too many grammatical errors '.HIS ONE AND ONLYThe main characters, Beau and Josie. They have known each other since kids. His parents are wealthy and he is a brat. He is now a star football player. She is the daughter of the family's servant. He shouldn't become involved with her on a romantic level. The rest is a predictable story, however TT's characters are full of emotions, their situations relatable, and the author writes with such humor at times, that it is still good reading. When you think you have the answers, TT throws a curve!HIS FOR KEEPSAnother good story. Surprises, drama, suspense, action, plenty of sex, revisiting of former characters , this book has it all. Oh, and did I mention witty and humorous dialogue between the characters? Plenty of that too. Remember little nerdy Colin? Well, he's a grown man now, and what a transformation! Beau and Josie, they're... Read the story '.HER RUSSIAN SURRENDERNikolai and Sam (Samantha) at first introduction of these two characters didn't seem to have much in common. As the author began developing their characters, however they have more in common than differences. Nicolas has some emotional baggage, and is determined to get Sam. Sam has some emotional baggage, trust being one of them. Together they navigate through many frustrating experiences. They sort out their feelings and come to an awesome understanding. The characters are well developed, the plots are dramatically entertaining and the love scenes are explosive. TT mentions some characters from her previous books, Josie and Beau, Nyla and Eva, Alexi and their children. I enjoyed the book!

Could have done with more grovel
I really didn't know what to expect when I picked this as my work out audiobook for the day, but I sure did get an adventure. Trying to explain the plot of this super fast paced, slightly over novella length book is like trying to explain the plot of a telenovela, so I'm not gonna because you very well might think I'm lying. It's that wild. Go is a very strange hero, not because he's on the spectrum, but because he's not very nice. Even during romantic times, he's always telling Nyla not to look at him etc. He believes she lied to him with no proof whatsoever, and then all of a sudden declares she didn't do it when presented with bare minimum proof and expects Nyla to forgive him...nope. So if you're looking for a good grovel, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a tonne of diversity, a bonkers plot and really good writing and a baddie FMC, then this might be something you'll enjoy.

Too weird for me to enjoy
**sigh** Go and Nyla's story was just too weird for me to even call it a romance. I'm not sure what's happened with Theodora Taylor's writing style of late, BUT I'm seriously NOT feeling it :( I see a new sub-genre emerging; one of down and dirty WEIRD BWWM stories that are not for me at all. This book was recommended to me by someone whose opinion I thought I rated. I read Her Russian Beast and hated it; saw this cover and was going to pass on it but gave it a chance because of my friend's recommendation and the rave reviews. I wish I'd stuck with my initial gut feel.To start with, it was a tad convoluted; trying to keep up with who had done what with who was a chore in itself. Go was beyond weird, too far that way to be my idea of a romantic hero. I never really got a good feel of how Go looked outside of his massive beard (which I found off-putting, actually) and hidden dimples. For me, there was a distinct lack of chemistry between Go and Nyla, but they both seemed thoroughly sated. Nyla was something of a weirdo and a bit of a pushover too, and I didn't much care for that.Nearer the end, the scene with Nyla's nightmare about Go passing wasn't very well executed. I had to skip back twice to check and re-check before I worked it out. I hated this book, and on that note, in as much as it pains me to say this; I think I'm going to take a well earned break from Ms Taylor's new romance style. I'm really about pure, decadent romance, through which I can escape my drab, dull life and enjoy a story about a man and woman engaging in sheer, unadulterated, sizzling hot romance. I aint getting it with Theodora taylor anymore, and haven't for a good while.

Different controlling-billionaire type story
The hero has Aspergers, the heroine is a black woman working at a women's shelter. This is rather like 50SOG for those who have gotten over the she's an innocent virgin thing. The whole thing requires you to suspend your disbelief, but then, so do *all* billionaire books.I enjoyed it a lot, but it was ended a bit abruptly. I loved the set up, even with the brother (who was treated respectfully by the author) and the family dynamics. The middle is pretty hot, with a smidgen of a hint of bdsm. Go has a constant hard-on and is always ready to, um. Go. ;)The ending disappointed me. The whole thing was a bit melodramatic and there were multiple threads of the story that weren't finished. This was reflected in the word count of this story. It seems to be about 135 pages. The rest is three other stories, in the version I bought of this book, anyhow. The middle one, His for Keeps, comes with a massive trigger warning because it goes from sweet romance to bdsm rape fantasy within about 4 pages, without any warning at all. I stopped reading at that point. Unsolicited non-consent play is not cool to me. The other books had some scenes from His Pretend Baby, repeated from the perspective of other characters. I found this a bit dull, and was skipping ahead to find the good bits. But overall they're entertaining reading, easy to get swept up with and great, original characters.Apologies for the short review - I wrote a longer one and Amazon ate it.

3 stories in 1
1) His pretend baby = good plot and story, too short but sweet, I wish that there was more time in the storyline to explore their interactions and attractions between the main characters also I wish that the plot had a more depth to it. 2) His for keeps = This was my favourite story to read, loved the hero and heroine and to know that it was a sequel to another one of the author's book I read was an icing on the cake, the only minus for me was that Colin was such an Alpha male that when he found out about Kyra's deceit he left her and chose not to pursue her, it was left for Kyra to beg him back, which I did not enjoy reading, if your such an Alpha then you should do the chasing, that's in my opinion. Apart from that part I loved their story, well written. 3) Her Russian Surrender = I already read and have given a review to this book.

Go go go!
Go and purchase this novel now. I loved reading and Nyla and Go’s relationship- it really warmed my heart and was exactly what I needed. Theodora Taylor can do no wrong and I’m looking forward to picking out another one of her books. The narration on Audiobook is also fantastic and I recommend you listen while you read to fully absorb yourself in the story.
