sibu Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Face Cream (1oz), Lightweight and Hydrating Face Cream – Amazing for Sensitive Skin, Breakouts, & Irritation

I started buying this moisturizer about a year ago from a local natural products co-op. I was getting it at "wholesale" and was so impressed that I vowed to buy it full price if the co-op ever closed. The co-op did finally close and I was thrilled to find this product at the same "wholesale" pricing here on Amazon! If I ever run out of this moisturizer, my skin starts looking aged in no time at all. With this moisturizer, my skin is soft and radiant looking. What I love most about this moisturizer is how quickly it absorbs and how lightweight it is, making it a perfect daytime product. I like to use straight organic argan oil at night but during cold weather, I usually combine the two at night for the extra moisture. My daughter (age 16) raves about the Sibu facial cleanser and daytime moisturizer as well, it majorly helps clear up her acne and doesn't dry out her skin like the products that are specifically designed for acne treatment. A little goes a long way so this bottle normally lasts for a month and I use it on my face, neck, and chest. It's also fully of healthy natural ingredients so you can feel safe using it.

Been using the Sibu sea buckthorn oil mixed into my Hydraphase lotion. I figured I'd try this as an alternative to the Hydraphase, which is around $30 a bottle! So happy with this. It's a lotion version of the sea buckthorn seed oil, meaning it helps fade my acne scars and keeps my skin soft and redness/irritation-free. I notice a huge difference in the quality of the sebum my skin produces when I use Sibu products--it's soft and doesn't build up and get hard and make a plug like it usually would. I love the scent; sea buckthorn seed oil has a slightly odd "earthy" scent which I don't mind (seriously, the benefits outweight the smell), but this lotion has citrus essential oils (great for clarifying skin/cutting through oil) in it which overpower the earthy scent, so the lotion just smells lightly of oranges. It definitely doesn't feel oily going on, in fact this lotion is on the drier side; if you want a little more moisture I'd suggest adding a couple drops of Sibu sea buckthorn seed oil or whatever other oil works well with your skin. Love love love this product, I've settled in for the long haul with this!

This product hydrates the skin, in a non sticky flow. The skin absorbs the creme leaving a soft, moist finish.

At 49, I'd been looking for a day and night moisturizer that actually did what it claims, moisturize. I also preferred one that was environmentally friendly. After spending fortunes on Aveda, Clinique, etc I happened upon this one by chance and OMG! IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I didn't have much hope as it wasn't that expensive but I have to say, I am sticking with this brand from now on. I highly recommend it, it moisturises without leaving open pores (like many "hippy" brands can), leaves clear and soft skin, and goes on well under make up, without bodging your face powder (I haven't tried it with foundation yet, but I don't see why it would be any different). Highly recommended! Plus it arrived super quickly, with a nice little note in the box. I will trust this seller on their selection in future, as this was a rare find. Great service!

I use this moisturizer only at night as is it too heavy for me for day use. It works well, not causing blemishes or bumps. I do need an extra moisturizer around my eyes. I may have received an older or mishandled batch since it doesn’t smell like citrus at all. It smells like old fryer oil. Thankfully the smell seems to dissipate quickly.

Been using this moisturizer for over 10 years. It goes on beautifully, smells great and leaves my skin feeling smooth and healthy. No greasiness or heaviness. Don’t need a lot so this bottle lasts a long time.

I have only one complaint and that is the bottle is so small and finishes fast! (1floz) The quality felt and appeared very light weight. No oily residue left behind on my big pores and my dry patches and fine lines have diminished. Seemed my skin was just really dry and this helped to just seal in the moisture. I used it as a day and night cream. In the am, I ice my face and then apply a layer of sibu then a layer of mineral sunscreen balm. During the day if my face feels dried out I may ice/spritz face and then apply layer of sibu and layer of sunscreen balm again. At night time, after showering, put on sibu and sunscreen balm. Before showering I applied a tumeric collagen mask and red light therapy. All of this combined my skin has been glowing. I also cut out dairy for the meantime and replaced with more green juices and silica. Sun spots fading fast and appears healthy even with no sleep.

I use this as a daily face lotion. It is a light moisturizer and non-greasy and kept my face moisturized throughout a very cold and windy northeastern winter. It is wonderful and does NOT make me break-out, in fact my combination skin is much more clear. I have been using this for about 1.5 years. I am very strict about ingredients and use ewg.org/skindeep as a reference for looking up every chemical in every product I use (makeup, soap, toner, sunscreen, chapstick....everything). I do like the name brand better than the generic store brand because the consistency of the brand name is a bit thicker (less watered down) and seems more effective on my skin. I have tried salicylic acid and tea tree oil but benzoyl peroxide seems to be the only type of spot treatment that works for my skin. Another brand with good acne skin care that are more expensive but have better ingredients is Juice Beauty (sold at Ulta and online) and Yes to Tomatoes (at Target). I use the Clean and Clear because it is cheaper but still has acceptable chemistry of the products and is effective.
