TWINBIRD Japanese Electric Sake Warmer Portable Atsukan Machine Black TW-D418B

Simple to use, even though none of the markings are in English. Does a great job.
Great for warming sake. Heats up quickly easy to pour out of and cleans up easily. Compact to store away. And since heating in a microwave or a pan takes the alcohol out of the saki, this has a double insulated bottom that it’s like what your grandma used to have called a double boiler.

Not a single word of English on it, but I don't mind because works great.
I'm usually lazy and don't write reviews, but I really enjoyed this device. As a fan of hot Sake a local restaurants, I always wanted my own when I had Japanese food delivered (as sometimes I am too lazy to go out sometimes).Normally, I'd just put a bottle of Sake in a boring pot of water like I saw on YouTube, but you really can't keep that warm long term and I'm sure putting sake in the microwave (which I have done) makes an entire generation of Sake masters roll in their graves and it also doesn't keep it warm long term.Soo... This device is fairly useful. You just put Sake in it to the ridged line in the pot. Turn the device on. Adjust desired heat. Walk away and then you got hot sake shortly and it keep sit warm so you can get small amounts and come back later and it hasn't all boiled away. Now my only caveat (I'm still giving this a 5 star) is that it's all in Japanese. The box, the heater, the instructions. Not a word of English. However, if you are a buying a sake warmer you probably don't mind as you seem to be already a fan of Japanese culture and can google images of what means off and on in kanji. (Protip: Google English Japanese toilet translations as they use the same symbols for smart toilets for on and off as they do any other other device and that is popular for English speaking tourists trying to figure out bathrooms in Japanese Hotels). If Google fails you, all you need to do is turn the slider up to all red and plug it in. If it gets hot in 20 seconds, its on. If not flip it and wait another 20 seconds. The only thing I wish I knew more of was if the instruction had recommendations for what you should set for long term so you don't evaporate it all or how long should getting it hot be if you are in a hurry. But it worked and I enjoyed hot sake. Also the kettle is either really nice ceramic or made of metal. It dings when you flick it (I'm not going to drop it to test if its metal or ceramic though). And I think its dishwasher safe? (Did I mention I was lazy) I put the kettle and lid in after last night and seems to have survived without stains, warping, or other defects.Overall, if you want hot sake this is the best thing I have come across.

Excellent condition, no issues
performs as expected and well. After reading the reviews and researching a bit about the voltage step down, we opted to not convert it for the US (120 v) but would definitely have done it if we were in Europe with a higher voltage. Shoutout to the other reviewer who put a marked up photo of what the temperatures are!

Perfect Sake Warmer
Love this sake warmer. Everything is in Japanese including the instructions. Pretty self explanatory though, but definitely authentic.

A Wonderful Little Appliance if You Like Sake
If you like hot sake, this silly little appliance is wonderful. No more long waits to heat on the stove, or overheating in the microwave. It's full adjustable from "human skin" temperature to quite hot, and maintains the temperature of your sake as you sip. It doesn't hold a lot of sake, about 300 mL, or about half of a big bottle. Be aware that the manual is fully in Japanese, but some of the other reviewers have kindly translated the important parts. There is a slight voltage difference from Japan to the US, but that just means that it gets a few degrees hotter than the original settings - there is no danger to plugging it in. My only small complaint might be that when you wrap the cord on the bottom, there's no place to put the plug. But that's true with most appliances these days, so it's a small quibble. I am delighted with this purchase!

Amazing!!!
I was very worried because the manual clearly states to not plug this in to outlets over 100v. Being in the US, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work but it works great with no problems so far!
