Great little generator
Ok, I bought this unit not expecting H@nda quality but at less then 1/2 the cost it's a great deal. Reviews seemed to be hit or miss.I got the dual fule model and love it. I have only run it on propane and that solves the issues with generators and old gas.I will have to say, I followed the directions for a propane startup and at first could not get it to run. Just by chance I reversed the instructions and it fired up first try. I bought a generator mount from Amazon for the front A-frame of my camper and now my generator rides high and dry, out of the way and it stays there except for winter storage. (SEE REVIEW).So far so good. It's reasonably quiet and I love the pushbutton start as well as the remote start. I used velcro to mount one remote next to the monitor pannel in my camper so it's almost like having a built in one.So far I have only about 10 hours on it which is not even one propane tank full of LP gas.Like the idea of having gasoline as a backup.Setup was easy and straight forward. Can run my A/C unit and all the lights, pump and water heater.Other than the initial frustration with bad instructions on how to start the unit in propane.. I am very pleased. Lots of bells and whistles for the money.Oh, one additional thing.. I added a plug in battery tender to the unit so that when it is stored, the battery does not go dead. Otherwise they recommend you run it monthly to keep the battery charged.

bad out of box
Leaks gas between the manifold and the carburetor spilling gas inside the unit, ultimately draining out of the pan and onto the ground. No shipping damage apparent. As soon as I turned the gas dial on, gas started leaking from under the unit. I removed the access panel and can clearly see the gas seeping from where the manifold meets the carburetor. Turn the gas dial off, gas stops leaking. Cinch clamps on the lines were fairly tight. I believe a gasket was either not installed or not installed properly, that or the carb itself is cracked. Either way, a brand new generator should not have this problem.

Customer Service
I bought this generator, followed start-up directions to a T. I used it twice, now the battery is dead. I have emailed and called several times and no response back from the A-iPower. I gave 2 stars because of the customer servers.

So Far So Good
I didn't see too many reviews for this model (SUA4000iED) but I purchased it based on mostly positive reviews of other products from this company. My first impression is positive. The unit is compact and relatively light. The instructions were clear and it started up after the third try on propane with remote start. It had no problem powering my Salem Hemisphere 5th Wheel and running one of the two 15,000 BTU A/C units. While running the A/C unit it was carrying approximately 1.6-1.8 KW running on propane. Starting load for the A/C unit was 2.3 KW. I was expecting it to be quieter based on research but it is still much quieter than my Craftsman 5600 W generator. Overall I am happy with the purchase. Time will tell with regard to reliability and durability.

Quiet!! Long lasting
And wow i specifically bought to run propane and wow 1.2 kw ran for 11 hrs on a propane tank!! The only sucky thing about this is that the battery that comes with it sucks. It died by 2nd use and could start with push button and it seemed very difficult to pull start on propane.

be very carefull
I bought one and had issues. No response from emails , can`t call and get anyone to answert he phone , Parts are not available on line. Typical china junk with NO back up from company. Buy at your own risk. The cheap price is good but you get what you pay for. So if you get a bad one your stuck with a door stop. Buy from Costco at least you can return it there if you have issues from the start.
