Is width the same at top and bottom or is bottom folded or gathered and sealed? are measurements accurate?

Measurements are accurate. The bottom isn't gathered, it's basically a rectangle. We just used our first one on a 14# turkey. Put the bag into a 5 gallon Menards pail and covered in brine. Works great so far!

Can these be heat/vacuum sealed
