CRAFTSMAN WEEDWACKER® String Trimmer, 6.5 Amp, 14-Inch (CMEST913)

I've used several weed eaters over the years and this one has been amazing! It adjusts the height for shorter people like me and taller people like my husband which makes things very convenient. No more using bulky equipment that kill my arms. The string is fed through a quick push of a button when it runs short which I absolutely love. The power in this thing is AMAZING! I can do my entire front and back yard without ever slowing down like I had to do before with my old weed eater. This was by far, my best purchase yet!

This trimmer might be good for light work, but the string would break when trimming weeds on my driveway. I did not notice how thin the string is. Also the sound being made when you push the button to extend the string can be a bit annoying. The wheel, the adjustments and the lightness are a plus. I give it 4 stars, because I think it still might be useful for someone who needs to cut weeds in an open area and not in tight areas between concrete slabs.

100% happy with this "Bargain" Weed Whacker. The line is thinner than the gas one I have. This has line that is .065 thick my gas one is .080. This one DOES eat line but not as fast as my gas one. I swear this one is more powerful too. With a 6.5 amp motor this is much higher than similar offerings in this kind of weed whacker. Something I was surprised of is the more woody weeds this thing tore RIGHT through them where my gas trimmer would just hit the weed and not cut it. Using it as an edger was not great but I think you need to get a nice edge first. THEN use this. I dont think you can make a good edge easy having neglected your edging for years. All in all a great purchase. I read some of the negative reviews ahead of time. I didnt encounter any of those problems and I didnt agree with statements like it "Didnt cut" or wasnt powerful enough. This was light, easy to adjust to my short self. I loved it. Used it for 2.5 hours and already threw away the box. This is a winner.

Rather than pay a landscaper, I bought my son a Craftsman Weed Wacker, and a Craftsman hedge Trimmer. My Dad swore by the Craftsman brand 1950s. Sure enough, their products are still the best. My son trimmed the weeds and shaped up the honeysuckle bushes in no time at all , with little physical exertion. He loves his new Ctaftsman tools. Can't go wrong. Highly recommend !

I bought this Craftsman after I lost the spool to my old Craftsman 12" trimmer which still worked well. This one has more amps but when you use the push button to let out line the motor bogs down and just stops. I guess you have to push the button repeatedly until line is actually let out. This one doesn't have the tilting head like my old one and the wire guard is worthless as it just gets knocked off whenever you do let line out. Also, the grab handle doesn't swivel around the shaft at all the get a better angle when trimming. Just not better than what I already had but I can't find a replacement spill anywhere as it's discontinued.

This is my first time using a trimmer. I was able to assemble pretty quickly and have used about weekly since receiving. Works well and not complicated.

Easily assemble, quality, durability. Usually a Black and Decker users that has proving to be disappointing after a year. Very happy with this one so far!

Es una máquina que cumple lo que ofrece. Yo considero que es para quitar malesa no muy gruesa es para algo suave. To la ocupe para desmalesar un terreno de rama gruesa y se rompe mucho el hilo no aguanta le quise poner hilo más grueso y no cabe en su carrete. En conclusión si lo piensas desmalesar es poco y delgado adelante si cumple con su trabajo
