The night time (“moon”) version of this product is very effective at moistening my lips and it is clear. The SPF version I never managed to acquire although I ordered it. It was not included in the initial shipment as the package was mislabeled. In place of that I was sent two red cherry lip balms. These are also effective but actually apply red, which is less desirable for daytime operations. As a result I use the product backwards so as to maximize its ability to solve my problem. In the event I am ever able to spend time outside in large intervals I will still need an SPF for my lips but at least they won’t be chapped or infected, presumably. For all that I like this product, and I appreciate that I did not have to engage in the retail combat of having a store associate unlock this or similar item from a shelf and accompany me to a register to watch me pay for it. After finding this product in Montana years ago, I've not used another brand. Clean, smooth and almost velvety coverage without a waxy feel, lasting several hours+. Great for my outdoor pursuits as well as day to day use. Made in the USA!

I absolutely love this brand! I first came across it in the Seattle airport (even though I live in Montana and it's made here!) and tried the black cherry tinted balm. I immediately knew that I needed more. As a lip balm junkie with sensitive lips, I'm pretty picky. And now that I'm vegan, even more so. I love the consistency of this balm. It goes on smooth and feels natural on my lips, not greasy or sticky. The scents and flavors are great, but not overpowering. I love the night time one a lot - I apply it every night before bed. The day time one not only protects my lips, but it smells like an orangecicle - I'm obsessed! And I keep the unscented one at my desk as my go-to. And the fact that it's made with awesome ingredients that don't cause harm to (and aren't tested on) animals, just makes it all that much better! Can't wait to try more flavors!!

I have a horrible habit of having chapped cracked lips... like it’s a problem I’ve had for. A while. Yes, I’m not always drinking water, so that’s another issue in its self, but when I did make it a habit, it still didn’t help. I’ve tried chapstick, Carmex, Vaseline, you name it! This one is the only one that works, especially the unscented and night time one!!! I didn’t really like the SPF as it left a whites film after it applies...white brought out the lines on my lips :/... wish they just made an unscented and night bundle

It's partly my fault for buying scented products, but I couldn't stand the two that have scents. My favorite for years has been the blue Chapstick, but now that I'm diagnosed with Celiac's I'm having to find gluten free products for my lips. I don't like to have smelly things on me, so I guess I shouldn't review that aspect, because given the sheer number of scented lip balms available, apparently I'm in the minority on that. What I can tell you is that I like the unscented one, and it has a good texture and feel on my lips. For such a small tube though, I don't think it's worth the $5 I paid for it (much less the $15, since that's what I paid for all three). If it was $1-$2, and I could buy only the unscented one, I would get more. But as it is, I won't be buying this one again.
