Best purchase ever
Intuitive, works like a charm. Connected to Presonus E5, just perfect.If you are an audiophile don't buy, save and spend on hyper expensive units... I only wanted good music and it delivers.My biggest surprise was the guitar preamp, I have 2 Gibson which sounded muddy and sad on a Orange amp, Fender amp and Boss ME-80... to my surprise hooking this up with a laptop just blows away on clarity and tone. Can't recommend enough.

Great choice
I have the Focusrite solo and was, well, ok with it. But I decided to buy a new audio interface. In looking around, There were lots of brands that were jumping out. But I went on a hope and a prayer with the M-Audio 192/8. To keep this short, I can truly say, I got my monies worth with this interface. Now I'm ready to record. It works great and was way easy to set up.

Nice upgrade to my sound card
I purchased this for amateur home recordiing and like the features so far. mixing the volume between speakers and headphones, being able to plug mics, guitars, etc, it seems to cover all my needs and the sound quality is great.It was instanlty recognized by Garageband/Logic Pro and really doesn't get in the way of your creativity as it's so eay to use.

good but weird gain
Not sure if it is a feature or a bug but the gain knob kicks in very hard at the last ten percent.
