I stormed through this book! What a fun read! More secrets are being revealed, more games are being played but this time the stakes seemed higher. Also a bit more dangerous situations. Loved it. Loved the chemistry and the little love triangle, but oh the ending! Now off to read book 3:)

The game is only just beginning for Avery and the Hawthornes. I love that we get to see more of the world in this book. Hawthorne house is amazing but there's only so far a story can go within four walls! The places they travel to were so idyllic and made me want to visit. The relationships between Avery and, Jameson and Grayson, really evolved in this book in totally different ways. I am big team Jameson, I love how vibrant he is and how he's not afraid to take a risk. But I feel like Avery is going to end up with Grayson in the final book and I'm not here for it! Seeing more of Xander and his friend group was very intriguing. I never know what any of the Hawthorne men are thinking but especially Xander, he seems so happy go lucky but I think there's more to him than we've seen yet. Meeting Max in person was a highlight of the book for me! She is exactly the kind of person Avery needs in her corner. The mystery is getting deeper and the puzzles are getting harder. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

This was a gift. She loved it, read it twice and made me read the series so we could talk about it. Pretty good.

Things I loved: 🖤It was a fun read! I loved how you followed the clues & the storyline naturally progressed 🖤I was so glad when Max joined the party! I really wanted Avery to have someone she could trust. 🖤 The pace was alright & again was a big fan of the short chapters 🖤 we got some answers!! Not all of the mind, but a lot of info was given which helped us understand everyone’s motives a little more Things I’m not a fan of: 🖤I felt like the characters could be a bit more developed - they all just seemed a little one dimensional. 🖤This ‘kind of’ love triangle with Jameson & Grayson. It’s not one of my face tropes. I prefer enemy to lover which might be why I was rooting for Grayson more! (Unpopular opinion probably 🤣) Ultimately, this is a fun young adult book that I found really easy to read & I’m fuming in need to wait until August 2022 for the next instalment!

Barnes has made the inheritance games even better with this book. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!

Some times with this trilogy, the stories died out before finish but this books was a nice sequel with a interesting secret. Im curious to know what's next.

The dynamics between the brothers—especially with Jameson and Grayson—are even more intense in this book, and the tension between them adds so much to the story. The romance is subtle but filled with emotion, adding an extra layer to Avery’s journey. What really sets this book apart is the intricate puzzles and mind-bending twists. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, the author would throw in a curveball that kept me on the edge of my seat. The pacing is spot-on, with enough action and revelation to keep things moving without ever feeling rushed. The character development is also fantastic, as you learn more about the motivations and pasts of each member of the Hawthorne family. The stakes get higher, and the mystery deepens, making this a book that’s hard to put down. If you loved the first book, The Hawthorne Legacy is a must-read. It’s a perfect blend of mystery, family drama, and unexpected twists, and I can’t wait to see how the story continues in the next installment. Highly recommend!

Another thrilling, mysterious, exciting story with lots of twists and turns and more twists and turns. Avery is once again in the middle of mystery and family secrets. Is she the knife or the glass ballerina? Or something else entirely. You will find out in this book and I can tell you that it is definitely a suprise revealed in the last 100 pages or so, of the book. Or is it? Well I can say, I really enjoyed this one and that it is a great follow up. I love looking into details and coming up with my own answers of riddles presented. I'm a bit torn about the choice she makes regarding the Hawthorne brothers.. "If yes is no, and once is never, then how many sides does a triangle have?" But then again, how can you choose between the Hawthorne brothers.. This book reveals secrets on top of secrets and lets you know, just how complicated the Hawthorne family is and what comes with the territory being as rich as they are. The world building is quite detailed and the puzzles had to be thought out by a genius. I wonder how much time the author put into making that work. So overall I definitely recommend this inheritance games novel! Come play this deadly game...

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!! I just finished reading it today. The first book took me 6 WEEKS to read but this book ONLY took me 3 DAYS. This book was really engaging and I enjoyed reading it. This book had more scenes with Jameson and Avery together and also Avery and Grayson scenes are there🤭🤭.......Overall this book is worth reading.
