I'm sorry to say this scoop broke the first time I used it. The gear slips so that the little arm that swings across the scoop to release the contents would rotate out of place, ending up in front of the ice cream (in my case, cookie dough) and blocking release. No matter how many times I push it back, it slips right back to the default ice cream-blocking position. So sad, because I was excited about making perfectly uniform cookies.This product was provided for review by Simple Future.
