Good paint. And close color match
Pretty good product. I recommend buffing or sanding off the soles of the shoes and if you want apply like a paste to make it smoother.(fixing paste forgot the name) and then add the paint or just sand the soles a bit until they’re smooth and clean, then add the paint . Let it dry and add another layer. Then add a gloss of you want. And you’re done. It won’t leave it glossy red. And the color is very close to the original. It’s not a solution but it’s obvious cheaper and a fast and easy solution than taking it to a cobbler . I know it’s not the best picture but it looks good. Not perfect.(it’s dirt on the soles, easily wiped off)

New shoe says whaaat
The color is perfect. Just a few applications and the bottom of my wifes shoes look brand new. A sponge applicator with a handle works best. The throw away ones from a hardware store.

Stunning red color
I painted the bottoms of a pair of black patent high heels I also ordered from Amazon (typical rubber bottom and not expensive). I protected the shoes with blue tape and sanded the bottoms with a 220 and a 400 sanding block. I used a 1” foam brush (it might leave some tiny bubbles but just try to smooth them, they will not be noticeable) and painted 4 coats (dried 24 hours in between just to be safe) and still had plenty of paint left over for touch ups or even to paint a few more pairs of heels. I also ordered the Angelus High Gloss Acrylic Finisher No. 610 and painted 2 coats also with a foam brush. I have only worn the shoes indoors but they are still looking great with no peeling. If you are considering painting your high heels then it is really easy to use this paint even if you are new to painting.

Great solution for refreshing Christian Louboutin red soles
Perfect “Christian Louboutin” RED to touch up CL soles. Easy to apply. Clear directions and YouTube videos are available. Suggest topping with Angelus sealer. Will this be a permanent solution? Quite frankly, no, but it is a fine solution for touching up the soles.

Great product
Great product to touch up my old shoes

Awesome!
Very vibrant and easy to mix. I just shook it before opening and painted it right on. It is thin enough that it dries relatively fast, yet incredibly opaque for the viscosity.

Matches newer Loubs! Doesn’t match older ones!!!
I read all the reviews before I purchased this and decided to try it so I was well aware of the complaints re: color match. My old Louboutins (the black ones) have been around the block so I bought this to patch the naked spots on the bottom. Before painting, I did light sanding to make sure surface was smooth as possible. I started with thin coats and noticed that it wasn’t a match (pictured). Oh no, was I was of the unlucky ones with a bad batch? I got my other pair of newer Louboutins and compared the soles and noticed that the red was slightly different. So I tested a patch on one of the shoes and ding ding ding PERFECT match! I have quite a few pairs of Louboutins and compared all the bottoms and didn’t realize that there are different tones of red depending on what year the shoe is from. To fix the color match problem on the black ones I ended up just painting the entire thing. There’s going to be some texture showing through where there was wear, but it goes on pretty nice where there isn’t much wear. It’s like putting foundation over big pore damaged skin vs smooth skin lol It’s also super important to get the acrylic finisher (which I used in these pics) otherwise it will dry semi matte. For red paint I used a foam brush and then for the finish I used a makeup wedge sponge. You need a lot of patience for this paint job, it’s super important to let the paint fully dry between each layer to make sure everything comes out even. I haven’t worn these out yet so I am yet to test the longevity but at least I know now how to use it.
