Not a DIYer install. Must be hard wired.
You need an electrician to install this. It does not come with a plug and needs to be hard wired not something for the casual DIYer like myself. I am returning it. Also the unit has a label to please see instructions in box. No instructions came in the box.

Professional quality transformer
Excellent well made transformer. Designed for fixed (wired in) installation. Delivers 12V DC as per spec. it Includes an extra tap to provide slightly higher voltage if the low voltage run is long and you wish to maintain 12V.
