Well I thought that this device would make it easy peasy to tie together my leader and main line together for my fishing rigs. I sat down for about 3 hours really trying to follow the instructions the best that I can and I couldn't ever get it to tie the knot properly. Perhaps it may have been the quality of the fishing line that I was using with it who knows? Realistically though, who has the time to fiddle with a little device like this to help you tie a knot while out fishing on the lake? I would just loose my patience and just tie my own version of the knot. Overall the quality of the product is very good but ease of use probably not. I guess if you can master the use of this device it would be useful. I don't see myself fiddling with a device like this for 20-30 minutes just to tie one knot. Sorry but this product just wasn't for me. Maybe I will give it another shot the next time I go fishing,
