Live Streaming with FMLE - - Bundled software is Krap!
I bought this capture device because it was DirectShow compatible and I was live streaming with Flash Media Live Encoder (FMLE).I had to install several times before it worked - but part of the problem was my confusion with the error messages. Launching the Honestech DVR software that comes with it, I got messages such as "failed to initialize the capture device" and "no audio capture" available ... or something like that. I uninstalled, reinstalled several times ..and then thought .. oh well, let's see if FMLE works and by golly, it did. Audio and video. No error messages. It would have taken me only 10 minutes if I had just installed the device and then launched my own software.We are running 24/7/365 and this is a new device for me so I'm going to keep an eye on it. Right now it's running warm but not uncomfortably so. To be continued . . . .

My assumption did not work.
I ordered this with the expectation that I could upgrade the software to work on my Windows 10 but it did not work. The vendor discription was accurate and the delivery time was good.

Looks awful, audio doesn't work, took me a while to get setup on desktop and didn't come with the correct drivers. I wish I had kept the packaging so I could just return it.

It won't even get my ps3 video. Does not work don't buy it.
