Just OK
These mitts are just OK. They are too large for me (I am 5'4" with short fingers) and I don't feel I have the dexterity I had with my old oven mitt. The length is perfect and prevents me from burning my arm on the oven door or shelf. The palm of the mitt works well and I never feel the heat through it but the sides of the fingers let heat through. I bought an extra pair to give to a friend but I will not do that because of the fit issue and the heat issue. Might be great for barbecuing.

Like the gloves....but they do not hold up. Had to purchase another set within a month of purchasing and have already had to replace that set as well. This time I purchased a different glove.

Great high heat gloves....
The High Heat BBQ grill gloves arrived on time and well packaged. The gloves are sturdy and well made of a thick material. They have lots of grooves which make for easy gripping. They fit my husband perfect, are looser on me but the bigger size on me was not an issue as I was able to grip without an issue. So far we have only used them indoors for baking and stove top cooking but we can't wait to use them outside for grilling as the weather warms up. So far we have not had any issues with using them we have not had any hot spots like the other oven mitts. I like that they are longer giving protection to the forearm. These will make a great gifts for chef, mother, children, hostess gift, etc. etc. I am impressed that they are 100 % money back. Works great at about 500 degrees and lots of use
Took these to work as a surprise for my coworkers. We had fabric oven mitts before this and after only a few weeks they would get really dirty and have holes in them. These gloves are pretty big, but the grip in them is good so you won't drop anything. They're long, and will protect your forearms well. Our ovens at work are a few degrees under 500 Fahrenheit, and we couldn't feel any heat through them at all. They're really durable, and super easy to clean. Just spray them off, and done. I have been searching for something like this for a long time
I have been searching for something like this for a long time. I am a small girl and I have had trouble in the past with these type of items either being so big that I drop stuff or not being able to take the heat. I have used these twice now. Once with a very hot dish out of the oven and then used it to sit on my lap in the car. Worked great. My husband who is 6'4 used them on the grill and again, easy to use and did the job = No burns. Great price and great product. :)

Oven Glove Comparison
Glove seemed exceptionally large, bulky, and awkward to use. I had much better articulation with conventional oven mitts. My middle finger is about 3.2" long from tip to web, and 3/4" diameter at largest joint. When web hit glove, there was 1/2" or more space in front, which precluded significant articulation. This glove might be great for someone with rather large hands, but unless you have really long fingers, you would be better off with a mitt. However, if they fit, they do protect the forearm better than most other silicone gloves.Updated Review. Oven Glove ComparisonFor different reasons, I have given each of the following 4 Stars.My first attempt to move from mitts to gloves to get better articulation when handling oven pans was with item: “Extra Long, Oven Mitts, High Heat BBQ Grill Gloves for Baking, Grilling, & Oven Use (Dishwasher Safe) - 14" Long, 2 Gloves (Orange),” $11.99 by Pen Over Sword. These had more forearm protection than most silicone gloves, but they were so large, and the fingers so long, that my slender, 8cm/3.25” middle finger was so far from the end of the glove and so lost in the tube that there was less articulation than with my cloth oven mitts. I returned them. If one’s hand fit, they would seem excellent.My second attempt was item: “TD OFFER Best Grill Gloves, 932°F Extreme Oven Mitts Heat Resistant EN407, Silicone Gloves for Cooking Barbecue BBQ Smoker Grilling and Kitchen(1 Pair Long)Black,” $19.97 by TD Offer. These were a much better fit. I wish that the forearm portion were not so tight and that the glove portion was a bit tighter; even so, I find them satisfactory, and a major improvement over bulky mitts. Though it takes a few more seconds to put them on, I assume I’ll adjust. I’m not thrilled with the decor, but it seems as functional as it is decorative.Depending on your hand size, either could be an excellent choice.
