This fuse tap adapter is good quality and saved me a lot time looking for live wire to connect my Led Light bar on my Volvo Ocean Race Edition. To connect this adapter I just remove my 12V cigarette lighter socket fuse and tap it to my light bar positive wire switch and easy done.

This is a problem solver for anyone trying to add a power source under the dash of an automobile. It provides fused protection and does not affect the existing circuit's protection. Would have been five stars but the prongs appear to have been stamped leaving one side with a rough edge. A minute with a small file solved that problem.

What a great idea! I needed auxiliary power and this provided it cleanly. Wish I had these in my youth when I was hooking up CB radios

The only issue with this is the socket is a bit thick which prevent the fuse box lid from closing. Or an alternative is to burn down the plastic
