Sexy Wendy Habanero Sauce added spicy zest to my Hot Tamales. It was extremely hot enuf, I will using her sauce for Corn chips on the this Thursday.

We really like this hot sauce. The fact that it is made without vinegar is a real plus. The carrot base is a perfect blend with the peppers. We are ordering again!

I don't know why most hot sauces seem to be drowning in vinegar, but this is a welcome change of pace. I get heartburn and a sour stomach when there's too much vinegar in sauces, so I was thrilled to stumble across this brand, which touts itself as being vinegar-free. They also tout the fact that there is no added sugar--which is a HUGE plus for anyone who is prediabetic, on the Atkins diets, or just generally watching their sugar grams.This sauce is not searingly hot, though. I might have expected a little more heat from a "habanero" sauce--because truthfully, this is only a moderately hot sauce. It's practically suitable for children---but then I was eating volcanically hot peppers when I was still in diapers, so I might be a little weird. What I love about this sauce is that you get heat and flavor, but without the acidity and tang of vinegar---which allows me to focus on the heat for a change.If you've tried Dave's Insanity sauce.....this is like a mild, baby-soft, friendly version of that. No acidity, no tang, no sweetness. However, I'm a liberal hot sauce applier, and one thing I disliked about this product is that the dispenser cap is a pain in the butt. It doesn't dispense more than a drop at a time, and if you shake the bottle vigorously, it only ends up flinging the droplets all over the place. So that could use a little improvement.But apart from that--this is a great sauce, and a great find on Amazon. We love hot sauce...it is on our table almost every meal and I do carry ghost pepper salt and hot sauce in my purse.We don't go for the over the top hot that burns your tongue and makes tasting the food impossible, but enough heat to enhance the flavor.That is the kind of heat this sauce has, the heat is definitely strong, but is balanced by great flavor of the other ingredients. First, carrots... the sweetness of the carrots and red peppers balances the hot habanero to give a wonderful, flavorful, smooth sauce. We have used it on eggs, in a quinoa vegetable casserole, flounder fillets, avocados, etc. It is delicious!I purchased this with a discount in agreement to try it out and write up my honest opinion and this is what I think. This is a truly delicious hot sauce that combines the perfect heat with great flavor. It is a definitely hot sauce, but not the kind that overpowers all the other flavors and leaves you gasping for milk! I fully expect to be purchasing this at full price when this bottle is gone, it is that good!

I'm from the South, so I know hot sauce. Folks in my neck of the woods carry their own favorite hot sauce with them when they go to restaurants or out to dinner with friends . My buddy Brian kept bottles of his sizzlin' Cajun sauce in his backpack and glove compartment. My ex-girlfriend Carrie kept a bottle of Foo Foo Mama Choo Carolina Reaper Sauce in her purse. So... I was skeptical to try one by some Sexy Chef named Wendy. What a shock...and glorious surprise!! This stuff is by far the best I've ever had - I now use it on everything! The Habanero mix of flavor and bite is absolutely perfect! Hot enough without burning your tongue off...with just the right amounts of Sweet & Savory. I've also heard that this particular blend stimulates the Libido...but I've not yet tested that particular side effect. I do know that it warms my blood and makes my heart pound just a little harder than normal. I highly recommend Sexy Chef Wendy's Habanero to anyone who's looking for Hot Sauce Perfection!
