Very useful guide to flash usage
I'm a fan of Scott Kelby's books, have several of them. What interested me the most about this book is his instruction on using a flash in manual mode rather than TTL. I admit that's not something I did, but already I've learned some tips and have experimented with his suggestions. Scott's writing style is clear and fun, instructions are very straightforward. His suggestions and instruction take what can be a complicated device and makes it easier (and more effective!) to use.

The definitive guide to flash
Forget over complicated books - this helps novices like me to get the best from their Flash - basically using Manual Flash and tweaking the power. TIP: Check out Strobist online for every situation using flash.

Great book for beginners and amateurs
This is a great book. Yes there is some goofy intros but the author does warn you. It is really good for set ups and honest on equipment needed. I like the book as it is explained very well and not with big words or unreasonable expectations or equipment. Very good for both the beginner and the amateur and the pro looking to add Speedlight flash to their business shooting. You will feel more comfortable using Speedlight flash after reading this book.

Excellent book
This is a excellent book about flash photography. Easy to understand and follow with lots of tips and you don't need the most high end experience flash and equipment. A must for anyone confused about using a flash gun.
