William Morrow Master of the Revels: A Return to Neal Stephenson's D.O.D.O.

Bit of a chore to read
Good plot, good characters, came off the back of a book I enjoyed and it is written by a very good author but it is just stodgy and uninteresting which was disappointing since I'd been looking forward to it coming out. I wonder if the contract specified more pages than the story needed and a lot was just filler

I don't think Neal Stephenson is involved in this one but it still works
Possibly a bit too much of Grainne's annoying written accent!

Delightful and fun
As wonderfully imagined as the first D.O.D.O!

Very nice sequel to D.O.D.O !
Nicole Galland continues the story solo, with nice additions, like Tristan's sister, and much more of Shakespeare's old London. We enjoy the vivid description of this DTAP, of which Galland is a specialist.Less technology and more interactions between the different characters, including the famous playwright himself and the Master of the Revels, who rules the Court theaters !You'll see that Defeating Gráinne's schemes is not an easy task in old England. There's a conclusion at the end of this book, but the path is open for a third !I hope we won't wait too long :-)

N. Galland: Master of the Revels
