Got this for my son as he goes away to college. He is happy with it, loves the ability to fold flat and use as a tablet.

Good value for the money. Boots up instantly, and software updates are super-quick. Touchscreen is nice to have for zooming and panning when looking at drawings. Printing is sometimes problematic with ChromeOS. I use it mostly for office-type apps, with a little bit of coding on the side. It's perfect for what I need. I like being able to run the Linux command line and apps like VS Code, Node, Git etc. It's perfect for what I need, but I wouldn't use it as a full-time coding computer. VS Code for instance loads and runs a little on the slow side, but it's not terrible. I haven't really used it for watching videos much, but it would be good for downloading shows on Netflix app from the Playstore, and then watching on a plane, if that's your jam.

Nice build. It seems durable. Good touch screen. Love the foldability. This was an experiment, seeing if a chromebook was worth buying. This was chosen for the touch screen and low price. (I also like Acer). I'm actually quite pleased. It works well. I would say for 90% of what we do on the computer, the chromebook is enough. We have a few other computers around the house for the other 10%. I will be buying several more for use with my students. I'll report back after a while with those for an update.

Our granddaughter are enjoying their new laptops. They were put to use immediately and they are very satisfied with the quality of their gifts.

I love everything about this laptop and have found it hard to put it down since purchasing it. Let me just say, before I buy something I spend countless hours doing research and I'm so indecisive that picking out a laptop was a daunting task - I've been in the market for a couple years now. But I had been looking at this particular one for awhile and, finally pulled the trigger. I was so nervous initially, but now that I finally have it, it's exceeded all of my expectations. It's perfect for what I needed it for, school work, and general browsing. The touchscreen is a HUGE added bonus. For the price I paid, I could not have found a better laptop. Beyond thrilled with my purchase.
