bought it for my wife who is from Acton. she thoroughly enjoyed it

Fun to read if you're familiar with Acton and want to know a little more about it pre-McMansion era. Not too long ago, Acton was a sleepy little bedroom town with one "convenience" store (The Center Store) and one restaurant (The Actonian). Ooops! Just realized that was FIFTY years ago. YIKES!

Lovely book. Filled with cool photos and tons of historical information on the town.
