Citrus Menthol Mint All Natural Artisan Shave Soap, 3oz

Perfectly Natural Soap makes one of the best shaving soaps. I've been using their Lavender Eucalyptus Tea for a while and realized it was time to get a second scent. Citrus Menthol Mint lives up to its best reviews. All of PNS's shaving soaps are the perfect blend of all of the traits you look for in a great shaving soap. They... soften your whiskers pre-shave, lather up well, provide plenty of lubricant for a smooth shave, and leave you moisturized post-shave. On a more subjective note, I prefer a soap with a scent that is not obnoxiously overpowering. PNS delivers in this regard for me!If you have purchased shaving soaps from some of the Old World manufacturers you may be surprised when you finally see these smaller sized soaps (which by the way PNS clearly describes) but rest assured it will last you quite some time. Its diameter is less but it is thicker than other "pucks".Should anyone have complaints about an inability to froth up these shaving soaps, my recommendation is that every man who prefers to shave traditionally, should always have two shaving brushes. One softer and one more coarse to accommodate for all of the soaps or creams they use. PNS shaving soaps benefit from a coarser brush.

HOLY COW! This soap is like an adrenaline shot to your nasal passages, and a menthol slap to your face....all in a gooooood way..Talking about waking up in the morning with a shave, this'll do it in spades. I have tried many different shaving soaps, this is THE keeper, I will not deviate...Just the right amount of lather, the right amount of slick, and the scent is ama-ZING...Will report back later as to the longevity of the scent and menthol tingle....Dbl Holy Cow! Soap last a lonnnng time, but, I am a every other day shaver. I just finished the bar 12/18, I will let you do the math. Scent held farely well but I know of no soap who's scent stays 100% through the whole bar... Im will buy no other shaving soap ever, lifetime customer...

I received this yesterday and when I opened the box I was very pleased with the scent. This soap delivers a great mint smell without being overpowering. The citrus notes take a back seat but are still present. This morning I put the puck in my mug and was not disappointed. It was easy to load my brush and work up a great lather in my shaving bowl. The lather was thick but spread easily. It also gave good lubrication. The smell of the soap was great after lathering and it gave a slight tingling sensation without burning. Great product, quick delivery. I will definitely be ordering again.

Wow, very strong menthal coolness after shaving! The most I've ever experienced and I'm loving it. The performance is very good, not excellent, but might not be the soaps fault. My VieLong horse brush loads up very well in about 30~40 secs and the first face lather is pretty good. Thick enough lather, great slickness, great first pass. But not much left in the VieLong for my second pass as the lather is thinner but the performance holds up nicely. I will try different brushes with this soap and I predict I can work up a thicker lather for both my first and second pass. The orange-like, citrus fragrance is very nice, not fruity bright and minty. I'm really enjoying my early morning experience with this soap. The price with Prime shipping is great as this is a big puck. Overall, thumbs up from me.

I like the menthol-mint scent. This soap is right on in that regards. Found it best as a bowl lather maker. In that regards I find all my soaps to bowl lathers. Shaves close and smooth. I tend to move around with the Artesian type soaps. Go lucky with this one. be Glad I made the purchase.

This is a fantastic menthol shave soap. Very slick for a close shave and the mint is refreshing. It has a cinnamon smell mixed with the mint, sort of like Dentyne gum. Definitely worth a try if you like a menthol shave.

This is a great shave soap that you can tell is small batch made. It gets me going on those sluggish mornings. Others commented on the great citrus scent, which is why I bought it, but mine has more of the menthol in it. At first I was disappointed but after a few months of adding it to my shave rotation I have enjoyed the menthol more than my other shave soaps. I have tried it with various types of brushes, (badger, boar and synthetic) and have not been let down with the performance.

Then this is the soap you are looking for. Be careful what you wish for though. The menthol is intense to almost a burning sensation. I like this enough that I'm a 3 time repeat customer.I love this soap. Too bad that it's no longer available
